this is ridiculous! goku doesnt have a tail because he isnt even saiyan!! the morons!! thats like making a superman movie and making him human! they destroyed what makes dragonball and that is goku's character. they made him into a girl hungry highschool teenager that was born on earth that only transforms into a demon, not an ape (7 or 8 feet) on an eclipse. dont get me started on piccolo! this movie is an insult to dbz fans and its apparent in the reviews. there is an expected loss of the cartoon feeling in every adaptation of cartoon to movie but they royally fucked this one up. shame...shame!

Hmmm yes, but like every adaptation you have to take it for what it is, and why it is.
That basically it's a film meant for Joe Public, using the title only as a rough base for a modern day movie and used only to create a base storyline. And as a movie for Joe Public, it's not that bad!
