Assassin's Creed 1 Stuttering and Freezing Fix
Enter My Computer, then your main hard-drive (likely C:), 'Windows', 'System32', 'drivers', 'etc', then open the 'host' file in notepad and add these at the bottom:
216.98.48.18 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.53 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.57 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.133 127.0.0.1
216.98.48.134 127.0.0.1
Save and exit the document, and the issue is fixed.
If save/exit not working (Windows privilege system) copy 'host' file to some other folder, edit it there, save it and then copy/replace it on the main file.

Is it safe to update it? Every time I Run the game it runs an update, but lets me continue playing when I cancel it. Will i have to find another crack or will i just have to reinstall the torrented game (will i lose my save data doing this?)?
