Krokodilliscious - Except that they have unlimited endurance, and their tendons/ligaments never snap. Oh, and they can 'rage' at full tilt burning up about 8000 calories a day, and not need to eat. As far as powers go that may seem non-super, but it really is.
Of course the premise is silly, but the soundtracks are excellent. If they are infected with "Pure Rage" then why do they not rage against everything (vending machines, each other, etc.)? Answer - Well, that would make for a short movie. Then there is the projectile vomiting of blood for no reason.
They are not making a sequel. 28 Weeks was far more expensive and did worse than 28 Days due to a crappy script. There are too many clones out with 'undead' zombies that act just like rage zombies, for it to be extremely profitable and that is all that Hollywood cares about. Just a little profit is not good enough.
