how do u get these videos to play on a mac, they open n vlc but just the audio plays, please help?

i dont know about mac...on windows when you extract you should get an .iso mount it and there you go

for a mac, download a program like Toast and then mount the ISO as a disk image. it should recognize it as a DVD and you can go from there...
i haven't finished downloading the file myself yet, so i'm not sure it works with this one, but i'll post afterwards and let you know

mounting the disc on toast and then playing the .osx file works with this one.
i'm having trouble with the second dvd; keep getting a script error when i open the .osx, gonna try and work that out

i cant see a .osx or an .iso file, its all .r01 .r02 .rar .sfv .nfo how do i get this working on my mac?

thank`s for the download. But I have not been able to make it run. Both image mount or dvd burned, the program play a small intro and then crash.
I also try individual .mov files and they do not play standalone (quicktimes/zoom player/itunes/winamp). Nothing :-(.
Any idea ?

Ok...here's what I've gathered so far for us MAC users. These videos are encoded using the sorenson 3 codec which QT doesn't support in ver. 7. And this doesn't work even if you enable the all the legacy encoders. It seems that the video on the DVD-rom was encrypted and requires a password to be entered into QT. In other words, It won't work...the video will not play because its encrypted. On a positive note, this tutorial is only $50 so I'm probably just gonna buy it...Hey why not didn't we all get reason $ free anyway..LMAO

You can't join for $10 for life and access all of their tutorials. I got all of this info directly from a producer I know who is also an Apple genius. He also said that you wouldn't have this problem if you had the original disc or maybe a direct copy of the disc image

Hey it works perfectly on OS X 10.5.5. Just mount it and open the .osx file and it works ok. The problem I found with this release both in Windows and Mac is that when you check out the video index (on the left side of the screen) you don't get the full list. For example in DVD 1 the last element is "The Mixer and Line Mixer" and actually you have the tutorials for all the instruments in Reason. Check it out: play the "Mixer and Line Mixer" tuto and press the FF button on the lower part of the screen, it will jump to the Redrum tuto which is not listed, and then to the other tutorials for the instruments. This also happens on DVD 2. I suspect it's related to registration: when you start up the program it checks for registration data and then it asks you to enter some information. I bypass this by clicking on the Navigation menu and jumping to Intro and then selecting another video from the index. Anyone also ran into this? Any solutions?

I am having the same problem as D_Vader. I get a corrupted archive when trying to extract. The download has been at 100% for two days. I know what I'm doing and this torrent does NOT work.

THX Gaiatry...The videos DO work on both DVDs. I burnt the ISO to disk using PowerISO. On video startup it DOES ck for registration, however I was not connected to the internet. So it let me skip past the registration info. I haven't tried watching the videos while connected so I can't say if it would make any difference. But the torrent is good. Also, see Chaostar post above. Good luck!
