ps: there are some pics in the books (in fact there are also some books dedicated to art collections), but usally they aren't the greates quality, they just act as illiustrations. The libary cleary aim for the bookworms, not for the comic guys.

PLEASE HELP, i really need this "book" -
i can't burn a CD from this "iso"-file, i always get a message like "this is not a valid iso file". i had no problems with some other books, the worked just fine!
i tried to change the extension to nrg and than to burn it, but it didn't work either. changing to zip and rar - and than unpacking it - also didn't work :-( i even downloaded this book twice - just to make sure it's not a "bad" download - no difference, still have the same problem...
has anyone a solution?

i have most of them in original, but some i didnt like enough to buy, now i can check them here, and if i like them, i buy them (they are not so expensive, the most expensive ones can also be purchased used at ebay cheaper, or at www.digitale-bibliothek.de in special offers sometimes).
however, here you can check some volumes out, if they are worth buying for you.
in this sense, it is the best torrent ever, since it contains valuable data.
in my case: if they are, i want to have the original.
the best about this series is, that you can cross-search over all volumes, thus f.e. if you search for "napoleon", you get all occurances listed in all volumes that you have. such a bright search is nowhere else to be found.
i really wonder that these volumes are not available in english.
btw. some volumes are in english, others contain mainly or only pictures, in those the language doesnt matter.
there are even volumes in pure latin or partially in latin (like Acts of Dominican General Chapters 1232-2001, the earlier in latin, the later in english, original title is : Constitutiones et Acta Capitulorum Generalium Ordinis Fratrum Praedicatorum 1232-2001).
this volume, though, is not inclueded here.
the digitale bibliothek contains various editions. this here is the main and numbered edition, but there are also other special editions, as f.e. the YORCK edition (also published by the same upper here, at least partially, that one is mainly about art) and another is called the "special editions (Sonderbände), of which these dominican acts are a part of.
these "Sonderbaende" contain very interesting volumes as well, they have not been publsihed yet, as well as the so called "little digitale bibliothek", which contains partially volumes that already are in the numbered edition, but also new volumes.

this torrent is a true treasure.
for those of you that do not speak german but are interested in some of the volumes : all text can be exported to normal text format.
you can then let a good translation software (f.e. systran) translate the text to english.
but, f.e. the volumes about english and american literature, as well as some special volumes like conan-doyle etc. are in english anyway (they might contain a german translation as well, but the english original text is the first).
however, it would probably be a good idea to release this series officially in english, and since it is financial success in germany, it should be even more be a success in the english speaking world, which has more customers.
it is just about time for an intelligent english or american publisher to realize and act ... and make money (since the licenses for these mostly classics are cheap, if not free in some parts). the most cost is prtobably the professional translation of the volumes.
in an english edition, f.e., the "enyclopedia britannica" would be part of it, a volume that is still missing in the digitale bibliothek (even if it was a classical old edition).
you will hardly find a better torrent here.

First I want to point out, all my chilhood and adolescens long, I ve grown up without using the web. Now,since Im studing and have spent enough money for a notebook and Inernet, and working regualry on the Internet , I really have to confess to the fact that there' s big lack of education in using this media in contrast to most other student, what Im saying, even to most children ;) But i try hard to work on myself and learn much, otherwise I wouldnt be here. And here, you come into play.
Im not able to get run the digital bibliothek. I really try hard. I got onto the digital bibliothek, was downloading the sofware for running it. opened the files with winwar or 7zip. I was downloading the deamon tool light for virtually device (here is a kind of problem for me) instead of buring it with nero for example( believe me I have never burnt a cd/ dvd in my life nor was using a chat nor was ever asking a question in the web, iknow.... hard to believe) but I dont know how to get further.on..I google a lot and there I got a registration code for the digital software on boerse.bz (they also got the digital liabriary, but in other form.).. I was also experimenting with isobust.but all in vain...
im not able to get it work, pleas help. Could anybody get a link here, where he/she could help me a little, a kind of explination/steps. What ive to do? What am Im doing wrong? I would be very pleased if you could give me advice.... Thank you, sincerely XUND

volume 63 (Martin Luther Gesammelte Werke) in this torrent here IS NOT volume 63 of digitale bibliothek (as announced), but it is only the content as .pdf files.
that means, f.e. you cannot use the digibib 4 cross search function in this volume etc.pp.
# 63 should be taken out of this collection, for it is not a digitale bibliothek volume!
however, dont worry, i will upload this volume (and a couple of other missing volumes) soon.
