This movie is not an accurate depiction of the battle of the bulge its merely a good war movie. So if your looking for an accurate historic movie of the Ardennes offensive in winter 1944.....DO NOT WATCH THIS... I might add that there were freezing cold and deep snow along with thick fog when this offensive was launched. Seeing this movie is kinda a real fail for realism lol. Still a decent war movie. I must say that Knaster is totally right.
Being Belgian and much interested in that battle, I have to say to nowhere in the film can the real facts be found.
People interested could better watch "Patton" with George C Scott.
"The Battle of the Bulge" is a pure fictional movie with no links with the true history of the Battle
