Hey people, this is my first ever torrent so if anyone has tips or suggestions for me, please feel free to comment here.
Right now there's 5 leechers and I notice the speed isn't really staggering even though I'm not limiting the bandwidth so that's why I ask.

Well, I appreciate that you uploaded a torrent. Just try not to .rar the files. That diminishes the quality of the music if they have to be compressed and then decompressed. Thanks!

That's completely false, the quality of MP3 files its not affected by compression in RAR files, the only bad thing about RAR files its that they are usually used to include malicious software in torrents files.

I tend to agree with the geekosaurio.
After all, if rarring a file which always essentially is just a string of bits would lead to creating a different string of bits when unpacking, then a program that would be rarred would not work again either. The compression system must be non destructive and thus the music would not be degraded.

Another bad thing about .rar files is that I can't download only one song. For a single album it's ok, but for large collections, discographies and so on, it makes me want to kill the uploader.
