Fix to crashes: If you have ATI (you can try it with nvidia too, i don't know if it works because i have ATI card) then set AA to "Application Managed" I had AA 4x, and now it works.
Some say that setting Affinity to 2 or 1 the game will work but for me it works just bye setting AA to aplication managed so with all 4 CPU's the game is working.

if one play thinking thats its "Burnout" then game is awesome but if one play thinking NFS game is just a crap.The game much like burnout with official cars.
The feeling of NFS is not there.can't do customizations, cant performance upgrade etc.In name of customization one can only change colors of cars.
In first play i feel game is good coz i m also fond of Burnout but later feeling of NFS let me down.One can say that its just mixture if "Hot Pursuit 2 and Burnout Paradise" the real NFS is gone :(
Overall game is worth to download but don't consider it as NFS otherwise u'll regrate, think it just new version of "Burnout" with cops hehehhehehehe :) Well thats all me what i think of game but still worth to play

And for other people: There's a crack. ''YOU MUST HAVE THE ISO LOADED WITH DAEMON TOOLS!'' Go to: My Computer, Right click on NFS Hot Pursuit and click on Explore. There should be a crack folder allong with the crack. Use it after you installed NFS HP. (Ps: click cancel if the installer asks for an activation key! It will go to the further install options, don't worry) Well after you got the game installed just go to the crack folder, click NFSHP_Activator.exe and done!
Now you can enjoy the game :)

i have to scale down the video size one notch. if i run on 1900 it skips a bit. but if i downsize i have a small half inch bar on top and bottom but runs great with a spectacular picture. as the torrent stated tho you can not go online because it requires a product key. but its still fun!!!

i have downloaded my windows 7 from the piratebay. You just need to download the windows and put it on a disk. then insert it and run bootcamp. normally the rest will be explained.

It installed fine. When i run it it loads fine and then at one points says Connecting to autolog and then says connection failed then it again tries to connect to auto log the says unable to connect to autolog..loading au ( then its blank like the screeen is dark) but i can hear the sound is fine and also when i press side arrows i can hear the sound due to the options.
Ive tried setting the affinity to 0 and 1 also tried the compatibility mode with xp sp3 but no luck.
I have 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad with Nvidia GeForce 7100 integrated and running on windows 7.

@sami1080p I used to have the 9500 GT as it came stock with my desktop. Shit card, I recommend upgradeing ASAP. Anyway, I was able to handle games at about 1280x720 res with medium graphics. That's about console quality :(

To everyone saying that you NEED to have immage mounted are either idiots or have only tired daemon tools/alchahol 120. Another very easy was is to create a new folder on desktop and extract iso to that folder. Then just run the installer from there. After your done just delete the file. This will also work on most multi-disc installations as well.

Works Great, But a tip to all AVG users you MUST go in and turn off Residential Protection to run the Keygen or AVG will not let you open it. you only need to run it once and than ur all good. But game overall i did the 1s race/cadet chase and it's horrible, uninstalled this P.O.S jus a lil while ago. This is NOT one of those "oh it's flagged as malware cuz it's a crack" false positives. Why would the need for speed crack need to delete sandboxies context menu entry? Why does it need to make all files that get deleted skip the recycle bin? I would go ahead and install the game and see if copying over just the activ.dat file would crack the game, but after taking apart the "activator" I wouldn't run a goddamn thing with reloaded or extremezones name anywhere near it. okay guys heres a basic way to do it:
- mount the image
- run the installion
- cancel the first time when they ask for the product key and the game will begin installing

When the game asks you if you want to update to 1.0.5.0, make sure you do it because the game will have better performance after applying the patch.
Also, you won't need a new cd/dvd/activator. The game will stay activated after the patch.
Just a heads up.

1.There's no Antialising in this game, graphics looks like SHIT, its like 2004 game. Idk, maybe its torrent, but even the graphic itself looks bad
2.No Storyline, again, MAYBE torrent, idk, but u start the game with PORSCHE(lol wtf) already and...really...just no cutscenes...nothing
3.You cant skip the cutscenes
4.Horrific controls. Idk what EA was thinking about. These are NOT controls as they were in original HP games, at least not like in HP2
5.Bad soundtrack. Basically nothing to listen to except your car engine
6.Bad gameplay.There are just so MANY cars. it's mind-blowing and confusing. Every race won u unlock a new car or even 2, like really, wtf
7.A very easy game when coming to be a cop. I mean, i played HP2 myself on my PC and i still remember how difficult it was to get those fakkers to stop. In THIS HP racers' hp seems to be 10 times lower than in original HP. Just 1 semi-strong BAM and he is done....wtf?
8.Just fuck this game
Maybe there was a lot more to say.. its just that im not gonna spend another minute on this game..played for like an hour or two...its just...unreal

p.s. sorry if it was rough. I mean the torret is good, its working, i put a plus but the game itself is shit, just wanted to express myself, wanted to let people know what to expect when downloading. I STRONGLY recommend not to even download, let alone buying it. I wouldnt give a single cent :)

What worked for me...
1/cancel out of activation while installing.
2/click .exe to play and let it go online to update for better game stability and exit/cancel out of server mode to play offline career mode.
4/don't even bother with the 'Activator' that is in the crack folder...i didn't find any use for it

Works perfectly. Just be sure that you disconnect from the internet before starting the game.
Also, during the installation, press cancel when it prompts you to activate the game online.

Okay so I have fully installed the game. I clicked cancel for the first activation and managed to install the game. I then attempted to activate the crack but a virus was detected and I also turned off the software and still didn't manage to get access to the crack. So then I just tried playing the game and the activation still game up when I clicked play game. How do I get past this!? can someone help me please i have a problem with the career mode,when i choose the race and when it starts load right before the race should start,the loading screen just wont load,it loads forever and the race wouldnt start...i have the same problem in need for speed shift 2,i only can play quick races,but not career,can someone tell me what to do?

I don't see any issues installing the game. I just recently installed the game, followed the instructions written on the description above the comments, did not install the update, have not log in online and the game works fine.
To those who are having issues, you probably did not follow the instructions word by word and did something unnecessary to make the game unplayable. Probably need to repeat back at step one.
