Welcome! This is a windows executable file, that if you run, will alow you to install garmin in: Any memory card in the computers card reader - It will install all the versions, and when you place the card in the mobile device it will select which one to install. Any mobile device or its memory card - It will find, and install the right version for the device you have. After you are done witht that, you have to get my other torrent where the maps and installation instructions are included ~2.5GB in size. well, if you read the instructions, you should know that it will not recognize the internal gps untill you finish all the keys and cracks and all that. garmin is locked to garmin bluetooth gps only. once you are done with the crack, you just go in the gps section and chose one of the ports, com ports, and try them one at a time untill you find the one that has your gps in the n95. i think it is com 4, but it might be 9 as well, so try all of them out. if you have not cracked garmin, and finished all my instructions, you will not be able to conect to any gps other than garmin bluetooth. hope this helps.

yes it has the base maps. but you will need the instructions from the other torrent, either the 2.5gb or the smaller one 35mb, they both include instructions and cracks that this one does not, this one is just the installation file with the base map. its all automatic, just click and go, and then use the instructions to crack it. enjoy

find all the numbers under /Garmin/Menu/Setup/About. and try any number that is between 8 and 12 digits. and see if it lets you use the intermediat driver gps after each try, if it does, then that is the right id and write it somewhere cause that does not change, unles you change the memory card. hope this fixes it, if not let me know and i will try to help. What phone are you installing this in? It is relevant, i have had some problems with some phones that run windoes mobile 5, it needs an update to be able to have some LIBs required by garmin so it can recognize the device properly.

i have been trying to get garmin to work with your other torrent and downloaded this one to try if it works well it works i see maps it sees my bt gps but with both versions it says acquiring gps signal constantly i left it on overnight and it never got a signal motorola q2 with motorola bt gps receiver t805 anyone else run into this problem or any fix for this?

well, the only reason for that to happend is: one, you have to reset to factory default, and then setup the gps again. that should do it. if not, i really dont know and i cant troubleshoot from here without seeing it. make sure you are outside when you do this, garmin is not nearly as sensitive about signal as tomtom is, so it takes more signal for garmin. hope this helps, if not, let me know and i will try to resolve it again. just give me alittle more detailed symptoms.

I am having troubles getting my bluetooth gps to work on my Palm Treo 755p.
I have read all of the posts on this thread as well as the posts from the other thread "Garmin XT NA most Mobile Phones And PDA BlackJack 2 Tested".
This is what I have done:
-Installed this file from this torrent "Garmin Mobile XT Full Image For Symbian, Windows Mobile, Palm" to my memory card
-placed memory card into Palm Treo 755p
-installed the application
-device reseted to complete installation
-i opened MobileXT
-It was scanning for gps but I skipped this
-went to settings about
-Only one line that says "Unit Id: "
-reset device and went to about again but still the same. There is no Card ID:

This is how to install it in a Palm Treo 755p with the new updated software (Garmin Mobile XT for Palm OS with GPS 10 Ver. 4.10.30p as of Nov 14, 2007):
1. Use a card reader to connect your memory card to your PC, or connect phone using USB transfer mode
2. Run the file "GarminMobileXTFullImage_4xxxx"
(It will copy all files to your memory card)
3. Run the Update (It will copy all your files to your memory card)
4. Insert card in to PDA
5. Install Garmin XT (should autorun), run Garmin XT
6. Go to settings, About and read cardID, type to notepad or write it down. Take memory card out of phone and reset phone. DO NOT OPEN Mobile XT.
7. On PC run keyGen, Paste CardID
6. Click generate, copy unlock code (DO NOT CLOSE THE KEYGEN)
7. Open notepad and create a file called "SW.UNL" and paste the unlock code in that file and save it somewhere (remember where you put it)
8. DO NOT CLOSE KEYGEN
8. Select City navigator NT v9 and click lower Generate
9. Open notepad and create a file called "GMAPSUPP.UNL" and paste the unlock code from "your map unlock code" in that file and save it somewhere (remember where you put it) and keep it open.(if there is some other code inside, continue without spaces within same line. In other words everything you paste in this file will be one continuous line)
10. Select Custom mapset - code 708 (AdriaRoute), click generate.
11. Copy into GMAPSUPP.UNL
10. Select Custom mapset - code 929 (SCG), click generate.
12. Copy into GMAPSUPP.UNL
13. SAVE
14. Insert the memory card back into the computer and copy both files into Garmin folder on SD card.
15. From the other torrent "Garmin XT NA most Mobile Phones And PDA BlackJack 2 Tested" extract and go to "City Navigator North America 2008" --> "Image" and copy "gmapprom" to the garmin folder on your memory card
15. Reinsert card into phone and run Garmin XT and set GPS receiver
16. Use your Garmin XT to navigate

Hi all, mmm I'm still downloading the "Garmin XT NA most Mobile Phones And PDA BlackJack 2 Tested" for the gmapprom file, and so far the software doesnt work. I want to know after I do copy the gmapprom file when the program is started the "scanning for bluetooth" should be there or not, basically should the program think that the GPS receiver is the one from garmin, because it still says connection allwoed only to garmin GPS device, after I created the SW and GMAPSUPP files. Or should the program be able to select any GPS receiver (I have one built in my pda).Just making sure I'm on the right path, please someone share some experience on this part, thanks for any help in advance....

beamcruiser, you dont have to download the whole 2.5gb torrent if you dont need maps.
there is 2 files in the torrent, and you can select to download only one, the smaller one about 35mb, thats where the instructions are.
but if you need the maps, go ahead and get that all.
ps to all: i am uploading tomorrow 2 new torrents.
first one will be a complete updated version of garmin.
it will include the 2009 nt maps for north america with clear instructions on how to install it in any system and all the files you will need to make it work in any system with all the cracks necesery and all the maps. the lattest versions for all of the files.
and the second one, will be the same thing as the first, but will be with the europe 2009 nt maps.
if you want, you can just wait untill tomorrow and check back with me, or get this one and be on the road today.

Hi again, I need some help pleasee:
I followed the instructions as written by every detail and still I get the scanning bluetooth and it says connection allowed to garmin gps device only. So what could mess up this process? (I restarted the device 10 times) basically did everything.
And could somebody let us know if the program should actually say searching for bluetooth garmin GPS when in fact it searches for the build-in receiver (if you have one), or how???
I would also appreciate if someone explains the whole process in more details here again, since there is the part with the map codes, here it says to enter the code for the adriaroute maps? why, when there arent maps for Serbia installed, maybe I want to install other maps, I mean it is all kinda messy. Why should I enter map codes before any maps are installed, should I enter the codes and than install the maps? The other part is installing maps. I installed the adria route on my pc, unlocked it and than transfered the maps to the SD card, is this the right way?
Somebody please do the guide 1 more time,please it is all messy here,I mean you guys understand this, but I bought my GPS pocket PC 5 days ago, I don't have a clue how this works, I never knew what GPS is before this. well, the only reason for that to happened is you did not install it in the memory card, insted you installed it in the phones memory, which is a nono.
IF you install in the phone, you will not be able to run garmin. is that simple, nor will you be able to get a unit id which is necesery for the crack.
get the new torrent i got, the one with the new maps, and follow the instructions.
hard reset your phone beffore doing that and format your memory card.
then, when it comes to the step of geting the unit id, read in the comments and i have included all 3 different ways to get the unit id. try all of them and see which one works for you.
i would bet that if you plug the memory card in the computer and then follow the instructions for geting the unit id, it WILL work.

I got everything working. Great upload, thanx! However I got one problem, I got this software for one use only; I'm going to Walt Disney World in florida, and I've purchased a detailed garmin map over the whole themepark resort, but I can't seem to get it to read it. Should I re-crack it with another mapID or something, and if so, how do I get the mapID??? I can try to upload the img file if anyone wants to try it out.
Or maybe I need the city navigation NA? However, I can't fit it on either my pocketpc or my SD card.

danielsebastian, listen. if you use my instructions, you will be able to send to the device or sd card just the maps for the states you want. so if you want just the state of texas, per say, you can send that to the sd card, but to do that you have to install the mapsource that is included in the other torrent i have, and it includes all the map for north america.
just get the lattest torrent i have, is the 2009 garmin north america, and there you will have a detailed map of everything in north america ready to go.
just follow the instructions and you will be able to only send the maps you want.
5 states = about 170MB. Detailed.

if you have not done the crack corectly, it will not alow you to conect to another gps other than garmin. to make sure you did the keygen and copied the files in the right location, just run garmin, click on the gps icon, or the scroll with a magnifying glass that is on the left top corner, and then, click on menu, click on disable, and it will give you one of this options;
the first one is: conection alowed to garmin gps only, if this is the case the crack did not work. you did not place the file with the key generated by the keygen or you did not use the right device id, unit id, or the 10 digit number that corisponds as your id.
second one is:
you get 3 options, bluetooth gps as the first choice, intermediate driver as the second, and com port as the third. if you get that, just select bluetooth gps on that menu and click done, when it asks if you want to enable now, just click yes, let it scan and you will see bars like a phone reception bars where the scroll used to be when it finds it.
beffore you do any of this, make sure that your gps device is a paired device in the bluetooth menu of your phone, beffore you even run garmin.

danielsebastian, sometimes it does that. when you dont have .net 2.0 installed. just reinstall(repair it. and it will be fine. dont uninstall it, just run the installation again and select repair or just install all over again and it will work.

Hi Restrected, I have been following every step as instructed in your tutorial. But on tutorial #7 for getting unit ID, it did detected my smartphone (N73), but I get a "0" for unit ID even I click on "copy" button to clipboard. Unit ID = Card ID? In "ABOUT" it say I am running GMXT version 4.01.20s60.9, Unit Id: I have manage to found a 9 digit number under "ABOUT" as Card ID. I use this 9 digit number enter into the top box of keygen and click on Generate, is this the correct way? I copied the generated code and paste onto sw.unl file and deleted off the old code in the file and save it. Thereafter copy both file and paste into Garmin folder of my mini SD card. Thereafter, turn off the phone and restart the phone and click on Garmin. The programme started and search for GPS and pop up a window saying "No GPS devices found. Try again? Yes or No. Wonder any other here had this experience on their N73.

the new installation file does show the card id, and unit id numbers in nokia phones from the about menu.

But see, here's the problem. Mapsource is asking me for a 25 digit code for the map when i open it on the computer, i try with a key from serials.ws. not working. i tried the key gen. not working. The key for your maps on mapsource? and second. if i get the map working, what is the key i should enter on my phone when it says my phone maps are locked.

I did not see any crack file in the package, How do i crack this software? And i don't see any comments file as well.
I am using it in Thailand so i have downloaded the Thailand Map too.The instruction in the Map says to copy the folder to c:\Garmin.
I was copying the map to c:\Garmin after a while it said that the memory is full , but my storage card is not full and has plenty of space.
So do let me know hos to install and use it with the Thailand Map.

But, boy, was it tough! Took me 12 hours to figure it out, with the help of yur comments here and those of other bros.
So, here sre sum lessons on installing Garmin on WM6 device w/ builtin GPS:
1. Absolutely install on REMOVABLE STORAGE CARD! I tried it on builtin flash disk -- no way!
2. MapSource Utilities does produce a "0" code. So, you get Unit ID from "About" in Navigator already installed on device. Thing is, there can be 2 or 3 numbers there. Use DEVICE ID number!
3. Install navigator from Restrected's latest setup torrent (the one w/out the maps), i.e. "Garmin XT Mobile Lattest Installation Files Base Map Support Fil"
4. MapInstall is not there (despite what Restrected says in his instructions). But that's easy: get it free :)) from Garmin's own site.

Hello Everyone,
First of all a BIG thank you to Restrected for sharing the crack. I have installed the Garmin XT 2009 full version and it is working fabulously. I have explained below how I did it. I have seen several issues that are posted and I thought I should post my experience to support Restrected.
I have installed the Garmin Mobile XT Full Image(latest) Restrected has uploaded on to my Windows Mobile O2 Xda Orbit running WM6. It has internal GPS and takes 2GB TransFlash.
I have followed the instructions given by Restrected and it worked like a charm. Only one thing I suggest is print the instructions if you can, that will eliminate lot of problems.
I suggest that you use PC to install and copy maps on to the SD card otherwise it will take long time. Good part is even if the device is hard reset when the Windows start Garmin will install itself automatically, so no worries if the OS gets corrupted or something.
One more thing is I also loaded my personal files in a seperate directory and also have loaded lot of programs on the SD card and it does not interfere with the GPS at all.
I also tried TomTom crack on my Win Mobile and it works fine but Garmin is lot better, trust me. The interface is too good.
When you have to transfer the maps to the SD card, you will have to manullay select the states you want to load the maps for. For example if you live in Florida and dont leave home town you don't need to load all the states which saves lot of space on the card.
Hmmmm. I can't think of anything else now, if you have any questions let me know.

Hello, I can confirm that this works no problem on the AT&T Palm Centro if you follow the modified directions by djhustla at 2008-04-09 03:47.
1. Initially follow directions in zip package
2. If you are stuck on finding your Card ID applying the update to 4.10.30

3. You should now be able to get your card ID from the about menu under settings in Mobile XT
4. After generating the correct Key files and transfering to your phone it should work no problem
5. I updated to latest version 5.00.10p and it still works no problem. There are some nice additions in the new version such as gas price, flight status, and integrated google local search.
