Tour of Duty is an American drama television series on CBS which ran from September 1987 to April 1990. The show follows an American infantry platoon on a tour of duty during the Vietnam War. It was the first television series to regularly show Americans in combat in Vietnam and was one of several similarly-themed series to be produced in the wake of the acclaimed Oliver Stone film, Platoon. The show was created by Steve Duncan and L. Travis Clark, and produced by Zev Braun. It ran for three seasons as 58 one hour episodes

I recorded the first episode when i was 8 and it was f****ng amazing with the PAINT IT BLACK intro! But it was banned after the first show!
Does anyone have a link to the original TVshow ripp! The DVDripp sucks bad!

if you like this show then buy the dvd box from fabulous films, it has the original soundtracks, these sony rips should be thrown away and forgotten

Not missing a single episode, great folder structure and file naming, Audio and Video quality are great for an 80's show.
I also miss "Paint it Black", but I guess a TV Rip from such an old show would be be horrible in terms of quality, so it's a fair compromise.
All in all, this is THE definitive torrent for this show! Kudos!

TV rips wouldn't be better than DVD rips. What you want is a rip of the UK DVDs. They include the original music.
You can download the full UK DVDs from here, but all the rips are from the US version.
Ideally, someone would rip the UK version down to x264 but so far that hasn't happened.
