Garmin Mapsource UMP Poland 2009-02 routable maps

This is the 2009-02-22 release of the Unofficial Map Project (UMP) Poland maps, Garmin Mapsource installer version, designed to work with compatible Garmin GPS units (and Mapsource, of course). Just run the installer and, at the end, it will automagically open up Mapsource and you will see the new maps. UMP's Poland maps include the following features: - NEW: UMP Poland has had some significant, recent expansion. There are now routable roads throughout Europe. It is clear that this is very much a work-in-progress but nonetheless an exciting development. - Current road conditions (construction work, new/in-progress work, etc) as of the release date. Road conditions are updated daily and the map sets are released every month or so. The zip files (on the UMP site, see below) are updated four times a day. No other set of maps are updated more frequently. - Fully routable. Additionally, select streets in major urban areas have address data. E.g. instead of just getting routed to "Solidarnosci Avenue" now you can look up a specific address such as "64 Solidarnosci Avenue". - Useful POIs: ATM/cash machines, public WiFi hotspots, cinemas, petrol stations, shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals, auto rental locations, hotels, etc. There are over 100,000 POIs. - Unique details: park trails, physical building shapes, monuments/statues, lakes, walkways, rail roads, mountain peaks, swampy/desert areas, elevation data in selected areas, major border crossing areas and a lot more. - Free and legal, released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License.
