Just so we all know, I tested this on a copy of Vista that had been thrown into Useless Mode by MS with a bad key, working in safe mode, to see if it would function under such extreme circumstances. It does not. So be sure and fix things up before MS cripples your copy of Vista, hmm? I'm sure the nice people who wrote this little program never intended for it to be used this way, so it's not like we've lost anything anyhow, but if anybody out there is working with a crippled copy of Vista, they can cross this option off their list and keep on moving down the line.

In the land of further interestingness, I humbly submit the following:
Left the test machine (Vista ultimate) which had previously shown Vista to be activated, using this crack, wide open overnight for automatic updates, and this morning a pair of items.
Item one: 29 day(s) to activate. Activate Windows now.
Item two: The neato No Religion splash screen has disappeared, and now things look "normal" once again.
Hmmmm.
Keep fightning the good fight, No_Religion, but for now the bastards seem to be getting in a few shots of their own.

philipray66 if your still having trouble activating vista. look for a dell oem version you wont need to activate that on your prescision

Not sure why others are having bad experiences with this Activator Crack.
I have Vista Ultimate (32-bit). Previously used the ClOnY crack to activate. Microsoft "caught" my invalid copy and did the whole speal against me.
Used this crack and fixed all of the problems...

Activated thanx... but c: drive is no more accessible seems to be locked, as resulting can't upgrade or update from windows site or virus definations for my anti-virus application. anything related with c: is not working. can't install or uninstall any of other applications even my all in one printer as "registry can't be edited" how the problem could be solved... the welcome screen by No_Religion is appreciable. thanx again but plz help soon....

as of dec 2010, its working for me...
i have just used this crack for my newly installed windows vista ulti and nevertheless it worked fine for me.. no other cracks are used other than this.. :)

Hello, what is the uninstall procedure for this crack?
Your automated script is excellent, I accidently double clicked the file on my Windows 7 PC whilst trying to copy it to the Vista PC... :[
I have tried /u and /uninstall with no luck.
