Description:

Like the first volume of the series, You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore, Vol. 4 was put together without a specific theme in mind. It has a little of everything, from straight rock songs to more complex numbers, from stage antics to guitar solos. All eras of Frank Zappa's career are visited (including tracks from the 1988 tour), but the '80s provided the majority of the material. Highlights include the only official recording of the live arrangement of "The Evil Prince," very different from the Thing-Fish version and truly a must-have for the fan; a rare performance of "Filthy Habits"; and impressive performances of "Stevie's Spanking" (with "Church Chat" explaining its story), "Disco Boy," and the challenging "Florentine Pogen." Doo wop lovers will appreciate the closing six-track medley that ends with "The Man From Utopia Meets Mary Lou." Those looking for historically significant recordings have only little bits to chew, like the 1969 improvisations "Are You Upset?" and "You Call That Music?" (the latter with Dave Samuels guesting on vibes), or "Tiny Sick Tears," an impersonation of Jim Morrison's Oedipus-inspired delirium. The real treat is the original version of "The Torture Never Stops," sang by Captain Beefheart over a blues motif -- not a fantastic music moment, but an important piece of Zappa history. Neglected songs, live rarities, old favorites: volume four aims at both the die-hard fan and the casual listener. Brought to you by TQMP. (The Quality Music Project) In this project we, fellow pirates share only quality items out of our CD collections in lossless FLAC and include covers, especially for those who like to burn and print and put it in a nice and shiny jewelcase. Well, you all know the drill :) Ripped by Exact Audio Copy V0.99 from 01-23-2008, encoded to FLAC with 1024kb/s Get Your Free Copy of the EAC and FLAC suite at: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/en/index.php/resources/download/ Please feel free to join the TQMP project! The "rules" are simple: Rip your CD (no 1980's cassettetapes or vinylrips please!) in lossless format AND include artwork. Include cue- and logfiles for the purists and the TQMP searchtag in your title, so it can easily be found. (Yes, on Google as well..) Say "thank you" by seeding... just seed, it is not harmful to your health :-)

Hi there !
I'm Damjan from Serbia. I am new in this... "world" if I can call it that way :D
I've been lately downloading (and seeding of course :D) Frank Zappa from torrent that you've uploaded and I am searching for more TQMP music. Can you give me some web sites where I can find more music in .flac format? On TPB there isn't much (or I don't know to search 0.o).
Please, anyone, email me @ [email protected]
THANKS !!!

Yes, i know that. I can find my self around :D :D :D It's just that I encounter so many bad files like music in 128kbps. When I found out 'bout .flac 2-3 weeks ago I was so... happy :D :D :D
I am now only searching for music in .flac or buying original CD-s. Now, when I listen .mp3 even @ 320kbps I see what rubish it is compared to .flac. I realy need quality music. I will help TQMP with their project soon (my CD-DVD ROM has thorn apart :D).
Do you (TQMP) have any web site or forum ?
Sorry for bad English...
