all through out the movie on both cd's there was something wrong with the video in VLC when movement was fast. wondering if its just VLC or was it the encoding?

I have an amd x2 6400+ dual core at 3.2 GHz and I have the same problem with this video.
Whenever there is fast movement or a flash (like gunfire) the video does not display correctly, it's very annoying. the display error is like when the weather affects DTV signal.
find a different torrent.

the problems with the video are just with VLC, I play this in quick time (perian) and it looks perfect; not related with processor speed (I have a 1.83 GHz mac mini)
Try with quick time or another player

The reason why the video doesnt display correctly in action scenes is due to the extremely low bit rate. The bit rate for blue ray is 54mbps! the bit rate on this is 9!? its not even equal to hdtv which is 15. Bit rate plays a huge part in picture quality not just resolution.
