Play Backups without swap

Copy all files inside ps2 folder to a usb stick put in ps2. Load up MCBoot.elf using Ps1 exploit or AR max. Choose install. Restart PS2 and insert patched PS2 game(memento patcher can be found on official website)choose to run esr beta off usb stick or mem card and screen should flash with a few colours and game should start. PS Make sure you back up all saves from mem card because this will delete all your saves. I suggest using one mem card to load ps1 exploit then remove it and put mem card you want to flash files to in slot 1. Any problems leave a comment.

where is this usb stick supposed to go? ps2 dont come wit usb ports do they?, i know ps3 does, but not ps2. please clarify :) I could be wrong, im not sure, please reply....?

what do you need to get this to work then?
an original ps2 game - cd or dvd ?
then a flash drive ?
I guess your ps2 original will trigger the exploit and then what ? just wondering
would love to not have to swap so much, but i think it is required.

this is most likely FREE MC BOOT which needs someway like a modchip or swap trick to install, the easy way being using swapmagic or ar max that can load files off the usb stick on an old fatty ps2, but after you install it the ps2 is unlocked all files needed can be on your memcard, it works, if that is what this is, google free mc boot i think i have v1.6, the ps2 has been set free
