I am using WMP with MKV codex but I cant get subtitles. Do I have to use another player to get english subtitles.

Imageshack now blocks people coming from TPB, i.e. they're blocking the referrer. In order to see the screenshots, you have to manually copy & paste the link into your browser's address bar.

A little advice: for playing .MKV files (or any other video or audio file) always use VLC Player from Videolan. It is Open Source freeware and is absolutely the best player at any price. [Note. If you like it, make a donation. The VLC crew has come up with an outstanding product that has been vigorously updated and supported for many years. They deserve your support.]
A hint: to toggle Subtitles on and off, just hit the "V" key, then choose which subtitle you want to run.
