Description:

On February 26, 2006, Cowboy Junkies returned to Telluride, Colo. for a show at the intimate Sheridan Opera House. The venue is one of the smallest the band has played in recent years, holding only 250 people. Margo joked at one point that she felt like a giant on the stage. This was another in a series of shows the band played in ski towns. The tour was quick. One interesting facet of the tour was the substitute drummer, Randal Coryell. Peter Timmins had hurt his back at the beginning of the year and was sidelined for this tour. Margo joked at each show, "My brother Pete turned 40 this year." Randal didn't have much time to rehearse, and did an amazing job filling in. Jeff Bird had played with him before, so there was some pre-existing chemistry. This intimate performance featured some amusing moments, as well as excellent playing. the band got down to business early, opening with "Blue Moon Revisited (A Song for Elvis)" and transitioning into an angry sounding "Just Want to See." A long "Lay It Down" led into the mini-acoustic set. On the encore Mike and Margo answered a fan's request and played "Sun Comes Up, It's Tuesday Morning," and Margo flubbed the words at first before starting again and finishing perfectly.

You can decode the Lossless audio FLAC files into WAV files with your favorite decoder ( see http://flac.sourceforge.net/ ) then write them to a CD with no gaps between the tracks (i.e. Disk At Once) for a complete "Live" show.
When you finish downloading this Torrent you can decode the FLAC files into a different folder to make the CDs. That way you can continue to seed the show for awhile.
I'm at the end of a long, very slow pipe and I stupidly put up all 25 shows at the same time. So when one show completes I pause it so the others will speed up. I didn't expect that there would be so many people who hadn't gotten the shows from www.4TheLlamas.com .
This was an experiment for people who were on dial-up and couldn't download easily from the site. I do leave the second machine in the other room seeding all the shows, but it isn't as fast as this one. I'll keep seeding, but help with that from the faster machines out there is appreciated.
Thanks.
These shows are out here because the band gave permission.

I will commit to seeding all of these live performances for as long as it takes to raise more support from others. Please assist me by seeding. Thanks.
