I ran a repair install while Windows Vista Home Premium was running and it solved the problem. Took several hours though. If anyone wants me to send them the ISO they can email me. You need to do a low level format of your drive first.
If you do not know how to low level format your drive then you need to learn.

Im able to connect to the internet, everything looks good.
Win + Pause shows a DELL OEM key and says windows is activated. It never asked for a product key during installation. What is this key for that you have given ? BDK6X-C8JD8-7K3F6-F4FC4-VXBP9. I didnt use it.
Previous comments tell that we need to call a number to activate Vista.
Im from India, can you tell me the number i need to call?And can i download windows updates?

For people who think it hangs at Completing Installation, have patience, this step takes a while. If you notice your disc is no longer spinning or your hard drive is no longer making noises then thats when its time to hit the panic button ;)

I managed to completely destroy my original OEM disc by accidentally dropping my old CRT monitor on it as I was switching it out with a new LCD monitor.
Hopefully this iso will let me reinstall Vista as I'm getting NTLDR errors when I try to restore an image I had as a backup. It's safe to say that my MBR is utterly messed up so a fresh Vista install is just what I need :)

I downloaded (Very quickly) and no signs of viruses. Put the disk into my laptop (I am on desktop right now) and for the first 20 minutes all there was, was a black screen, it finally went to the Vista screen where it said "Install" Or "Repair" etc. So I clicked install and it says
Install Windows
Windows cannot open the required file E:\Sources\Install.wim.
Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code:0x8007000D

Download PowerIso from the Internet.
Download torrent.
Extract Torrent files using PowerIso.
When done, view files. Setup.exe should be there. Open it. For activation try downloading the Windows Activator Torrnent. My Version activated itself :P Thanks for reading and any feedback?

Jesus Christ! My stepdad left behind a Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium disc. I installed it and everything works. Glad I do not have to worry about viruses anymore and stuff like that. It is so awesome when you have a genuine disc that has a certificate of authenticity as well as a holographic image. That is why I like the ones out in the store better. Any of u guys hade problems burning the .iso? My software burns to 100% completion. But then it freezes, When u look at the dvd+R disk u see it has written to it. but when i put it back in i can´t read the dvd from explorer. ore any other software. i tryed like 10 different softwares to burn. but no luck. One software dosen´t even burn the bar gose to 100% but there is nothing on the dvd.
