most keygens and cracks are packed with the same exepack scheme that viruses and trojans use.
they're not finding a virus. they're just finding the header that any exepacked file would have.
ie... your virus scanner is made by lazy fuckers who didnt scan for the actual virus code. just on the headers.

Works absolutely perfectly.. install is easy and so is the crack.
1. Use poweriso to mount the iso file. this is almost the same as winrar.
2. Use the setup.
3. Copy over the crack folder content to C:/program files/505games/1C/Men of War
WARNING. THE MAP ITSELF HAS THE MEN OF WAR ICON, DO NOT DELETE IT BECAUSE YOU THINK ITS THE GAME ITSELF AND IT WENT WRONG!.
4. Run MOW or MOW editor

My firewall (Comodo) detected mow.exe (the cracked one) as a malware. Now I know that a lot of these are false-positives, but how can I be sure about it? My antivirus software (Dr.Web) didn't find anything when I scanned the "Crack" folder, but I don't know whether this means a false-positive or that my antivirus program sucks. Anyway I know that AiTB is a trusted uploader (I see the skull, and I already downloaded several torrents from him without problem), but I really want to be sure, and this is the first time that Comodo actually popped up and said that it prevented an infection and that I should delete it and seek a "Buddygeek" to scan the computer for me. So any opinions?

Okay, I scanned mow.exe with the Jotti online virus scan (had to compress it to meet size limits), and only 1 out of 19 programs did find something: it was ClamAV that identified it as infected with PUA.Win32.Packer.Armadillo-59. I searched the net for information about it, but I couldn't find anything, it is rarely mentioned at all. So I guess, if I follow the rule of thumb that it is the majority opinion that matters, then I shouldn't be worried. Still, if anyone has any relevant information, please share it with me.
