Source: 25 gig blu ray disk remux by max1g Year: 2003 Runing time: 2:18:15 Frame rate: 23.976 fps Genre: Action/Adventure/Scifi Language: English Subs: None File size: 4.39 gig total Trackers: TPB tracker Video track: Video format: X264/H.264 AVC high profile @ 4.1 Resolution: True 720p ( 1280x720 ) Ratio: 2.4:1 Encoding passes: 2 full pass Bitrate: 3690 kbps Main audio track: Format: AC3, Dynamic range compression Channels: 6 ( 3/2.1 5.1 ) Bitrate: 448 kbps Sample rate: 48khz Additional AAC LC track: Format: Nero AAC LC Channels: 2 ( stereo ) Avg bitrate: 160 kbps IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0234215/ Rating: 7.0/10 Tagline: Free your mind. Story: Neo and the rebel leaders estimate that they have 72 hours until 250,000 probes discover Zion and destroy it and its inhabitants. During this, Neo must decide how he can save Trinity from a dark fate in his dreams. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS, PLEASE READ: This is three formats roled into one. The origional format of this rip is an AVCHD. You can run one of the batch files included to create a new .mp4 or .mkv file from the origional AVCHD and included audio. FOR PS3 AND BLU RAY USERS ( AVCHD ): The rip is already in AVCHD format. You only need to burn the contents of the "AVCHD disk structure" folder correctly on to a standard DVD5. The resulting disk will play directly on ps3 and blu ray player, as a blu ray movie disk. The DVD must be burned onto a UDF data DVD using the UDF 2.5 burning format on a non-multisession, physical partition. Instructions on how to do this whith nero burning rom are here. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/burn_avchd_with_nero_burning_rom.cfm FOR PC, PS3 AND XBOX 360 USERS ( STEREO .MP4 ): To create a pc, ps3 xbox 360 compatable stereo .mp4, double click the "Create Stereo mp4.bat" file. This will auto-mux a new stereo .mp4 file by demuxing ( copying out ) the video stream from the AVCHD and remuxing it with the additional stereo AAC LC track. The whole proccess takes aprox twenty minutes. There is no encoding involved, only muxing. The new file will be 3.7 gig in size and it will be called "matrix.mp4". It will be created in the root folder of the torrent. FOR PC MULTICHANNEL USERS AND THOSE WHO LIKE SCENE FORMAT ( AC3 MKV ): To create a scene style AC3 .mkv from this rip, double click the "Create AC3 mkv.bat" file. This will auto-mux a new AC3 .mkv file by demuxing ( copying out ) the video and audio streams from the AVCHD and remuxing them back together. The whole proccess takes aprox twenty minutes. There is no encoding involved, only muxing. The new file will be 4 gig in size and will be called "The Matrix.mkv". It will be created in the root folder of the torrent. PEASE NOTE: The batch files create new files. They don't alter the origional AVCHD files. They remain untouched every time. The main movie file is located in the "AVCHD disk structureBDMVSTREAM" folder and is called "00001.m2ts". If you alter the file names, you break the batch files. You can alter the result name to whatever you want. To run a batch file just double click on it. The main file in the AVCHD is m2ts and can be loaded into convertx to dvd or played as is on pc with wmp, media player classic, vlc player etc.. I recieved complaint that I didn't warn people just how much hdd space the batch files need to work in. They require a theoretical 14 gig of working space. Most of this is temp file's that are deleted once the bat files are completed. Enjoy this HD movie. -==D-L33T3==- UKB-KVCD Release Group

Nice upload, thanx a lot. Muxing to AC3 mkv worked fine in Linux with Wine using the batch file. Dont really need to remux it to play in Linux, the file 00001.m2ts can be played in for example KMPlayer or mplayer. Other players work also. If you still want to remux make sure you have wine installed ("sudo apt-get install wine" on debian/buntu) then cd to the torrents root folder, and type:
wineconsole 'Create AC3 mkv.bat'
~8GB free space on the drive was enough.

Thank you for the feedback. Nice to know the batch files and toolkit work in linux.
Drive usage is lower for that one. It's the .mp4 one that runs high drive usage. At the end of the day the resulting .mp4 is only 3.7 gig but it's the temp space it uses to prepare avc iso and aac ready for the final mux.
Thats all down to the way mp4box works.

 d-l33t3 (2009-02-12)

That being said, 14 gig is perhaps a bit high. I'd say it's more 12 gig of free space needed to run the .mp4 batch file.
Aprox 4 gig for the demux, 4 gig for the import/preperation 4 gig for the final mux.
The demux and import are deleted at the end though.
