Description:

You want more? You got it! Presenting to you is the Ultimate Jazz FLAC Collection Pt 2. This is by no means any sort of "ultimate collection", but it's definately an extention of the original torrent which can be found here: This time around, I've gone ahead and ripped everything using Secure Mode in EAC (due to demand). Logs of the rip have been included. And just like last time there are full, complete high quality scans of the linear notes presented in 200 dpi. I'm sorry, but there are no cue files included. This is my first time using EAC and had a hard enough time trying to configure it. I looked all over google, but I can't figure out a way to create a cue list without having it aim at the .wav files that have been converted over to flac. If anyone wants to school me one time into having the program configured correctly so I can do a proper release, feel free to let me know. Otherwise, for now - enjoy this small tidbit of jazz. For my next upload, I'm going to be shooting for some more of the avant-garde free-jazz sounds. Who knows though, I may suprise ya. Like always, do me a favor and seed to at least 1.0, please! I'm a bit disappointed that I only have 10 seeders for the 20+ gig jazz torrent I originally uploaded while there are 50+ leechers trying to retrieve it. Until next time, cats and kitties! Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - Caravan Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - Moanin' (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Bud Powell - The Amazing Bud Powell: Volume One (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady Coleman Hawkins - Body & Soul Coleman Hawkins - The Hawk Relaxes (Rudy Van Gelder Remaster) Grant Green - Green Street (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Grover Washington Jr - Feels So Good Grover Washington Jr - Mister Magic Herbie Hancock - Empyrean Isles (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Ike Quebec - Bossa Nova Soul Samba (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) John Coltrane & Johnny Hartman Johnny Griffin - Introducing (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Lee Morgan - Delightfulee (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Lee Morgan - Volume 2: Sextet (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Lee Morgan - Volume 3 (Rudy Van Gelder Edition) Medeski, Martin & Wood - Bubblehouse Miles Davis - Bag's Groove (Rudy Van Gelder Remaster) Wes Montgomery - Boss Guitar

but without cue files it's not useable(at least for me)
ciao

sucht (2009-04-29)

sorry for writing again :/
for the cue file thingy, put in your cds and go to "Action" and click on "Detect Gabs", after that is done go again to "Action" and then click on "Create Cue Sheet" and take the first option you see there, i think it is called "Current Gap Settings...".
oh and here is a great Helping Site, for configuring EAC -> http://blowfish.be/eac/
hope that helps.
ciao

You know, it's amazing the comments that are left here. All the negative comments are left by tools who haven't uploaded a single fucking torrent. I wish I could send a virus to them that would eliminate them from the face of the earth, because they're just dead weight. Thanks for your effort.

fabiobonillo (2009-11-15)

RVG's are the best. Emphatic thanks for all the effort laterthannever, and thankyou Rudy Van Gelder, who is still alive as far as I know.
Regarding EAC burrrn cue file:
I quit using EAC cue files because they only seemed to function consistently when ripping full (1) file disc images. I find a separate file for each song suits my needs better...particularly when assembling a compilation of favorites.
EAC will add a .m3u file which seems to work every time as both a cue file for burrrn and as a 2 click means of loading all the tracks into VLC for playback
EAC is not user friendly but it rips perfectly with a little tweaking. I love the price too. No credit card needed. I really should send the EAC developer a donation.
Somewhere in the depths of EAC is a click box which reads "ADD .m3u file"
Now...if I can just increase my upload speed
I hadn't planned on being so long winded
I hope this helps somebody
