Can someone explain why the file is so large? The PHB available as part of a D&D 4E collection torrent is ~15 MB, with better alignment and fully searchable text (this one is mostly searchable, but some sections, like Wizard, are basically flat images).
What are they doing to make the PHB and other core books come out so well? Borrow the publisher's original file?

@mojovampire: basically, yes. Arcane Power is the first D&D4 book where WOTC isn't selling the pdf, so this is a scanned copy, instead of just "unlocking" the bought pdf
As this torrent shows, this decision didn't really stop p2p, just slowed it down a bit. (not to mention inconveniencing all the people that buy the hardcopy but still like to have a digital version to search through)
