Description:
Fritz the Cat (1972)
Director: Ralph Bakshi
Fritz the Cat is a 1972 American animated film written and directed by Ralph Bakshi as his feature film debut. Based on the comic strip of the same name by Robert Crumb, the film was the first animated feature film to receive an X rating in the United States. It focuses on Fritz (voiced by Skip Hinnant), an anthropomorphic feline in mid-1960s New York City who explores the ideals of hedonism and sociopolitical consciousness. The film is a satire focusing on American college life of the era, race relations, the free love movement, and left- and right-wing politics. Fritz the Cat is the most successful independent animated feature of all time, grossing over $100 million worldwide.
After Bakshi graduated from High School of Art and Design, he worked on cartoon shorts for Terrytoon Studios for ten years and eventually started up his own animation studio. However, Bakshi was uninterested in the kind of animation he was producing, and wanted to produce something personal. He soon developed Heavy Traffic, a tale of inner-city street life. However, producer Steve Krantz told Bakshi that studio executives would be unwilling to fund the film because of its content and Bakshi's lack of film experience.[1] Later, Bakshi came across a copy of Fritz the Cat while browsing a bookstore. Impressed by Crumb's satire, Bakshi suggested to Krantz that it could be worked into a film.
The film had a troubled production history and controversial release. Crumb is known to have had disagreements with the filmmakers, claiming in interviews that his first wife signed over the film rights to the characters, and that he did not approve the production. Crumb was also critical of the film's approach to his material. Fritz the Cat was controversial for its rating and content, which many viewers at the time found to be offensive. Its success led to a slew of other X-rated animated films, and a sequel, The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat, was made without Crumb's or Bakshi's involvement.

When using TPB please read these important notes:
01- Anti-malware apps may warn about keygens, patches, cracks, etc., because of
their capabilities, (generating codes, etc.). Sometimes they're added to
the virus/spyware database and will be detected as malware. If you don't trust
the keygens, patches, cracks, etc., don't use them.
02- Before running .exe-files, keygens, patches, cracks, etc., always check first
if they can be unpacked. Often some third party added a virus to the
original file, repacked it and uploaded it again.
03- Letting anti-malware apps send scan results to their companies can cause
keygens, patches, cracks, etc., to be added to their virus-database.
04- Firewalls which are set to automatically determine connections will allow
apps & malware!. Avoid this by manually configuring your firewall.
05- Usually (new) torrents with many downloads and seeders in a brief period is
suspicious! Torrents with the Skull & Crossbones icon are trusted.
06- Some people use multiple accounts and post fake comments
and/or files trying to spread confusion. They seldom seriously
comment or have any torrents, or a just a few to look passable.
07- Clicking on unknown links can cause malware to be installed on your machine.
08- In general often there are more fake and negative comments than reliable and
positive comments.
09- In some countries uploading/downloading copyright protected material is
forbidden, but showing some appreciation to reliable up-loaders is not.
10- Posting fake and negative comments or fake/infected uploads on TPB can result
in getting banned from TPB!

Thanks big_dad_e for the torrent, and the specs and info. Great quality, too.Of course this is a furry animated movie about 60s American culture from a cartoonist who's a sexual deviant, and written and directed by a white supremacist, so I knew I was going to be in for some trippy ass shit, and I was not disappointed. Liked it, but it could have delved into more aspects of the 60s.
