Not exactly a professional guide. Whoever wrote this "book" must have flunked 6th grade science, as the author notes that the plants need fresh OXYGEN and you need vent out the CARBON DIOXIDE that they emit, when the opposite is true. lol

@x_Darkstorm_x, I'm afraid it's you who must have flunked 6th grade science. While plants do absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen in a process known as photosynthesis, this is not what the author is referring to. Plants, like animals, respire. They take in oxygen and give off carbon dioxide. This is a requirement of the cells of all living organisms. If you deprive a plant of oxygen, it will die within a couple hours.

@x_Darkstorm_x - It also states in the beginning of the book "Positive Effects is reduced nausea and the Negative Effects is nausea" This makes no sense. I will continue reading this book and hope it gets better :)

Kr3z and MrPirate8 and x_Darkstorm_x are all right...and wrong. When exposed to light, plants absorb CO2 (hence CO2 enrichment systems!). In the absence of light ("night"), the process is reversed. Roots should be well-oxygenated, but that's because they rot without it, not because they absorb it.
As for this book.....it's total dog shit. The worst I've ever read, and I've read dozens of cannabis books. The *best* one is the Bible, AKA Marijuana Horticulture by Jorge Cervantes (AKA George Van Patten). There are several editions (Indoor, Indoor/Outdoor, Medical, etc.), they're all great. Get it.
There's a book called "Cannabis Grow Bible", which is a blatant attempt to rip off JG's success. Another useless piece of shit, not worth a fuck.
