I think this misleads a lot of people.
Armin Van Buuren is currently the #1 DJ in the world, and DJing is how he made a name for himself. All DJ's essentially do is take tracks from other artists and mix them.
This album isn't an Armin mix like A State of Trance, rather it is his own material he himself made.
I'm as big an Armin fan as any, but the guy's strong point is mixing, not making music.
With that said, this is still a decent album. Easily his best artist album, but it's not AAA trance.

Well I think he's an amazing songwriter as well as the number one world DJ, some of the best trance tracks out there are made by him - Shivers, Burned With Desire, Zocalo, Yet Another Day, Communication, Serenity, and so on..

i love his mixes but never liked that much his artist albums... yet this original song by him are his best so far and can compete with just about any other producer right now. real high quality tracks

Great album. His best definitely, but I agree with gazwsxijn that his strong point is DJing. I still think above & beyond and Ferry Corsten are a little better at the composition aspect that he.

Right folks lets get one thing straight, ye Armin is good but no1 DJ he is not, at least not while Tiesto is alive.
If you had seen this guy live at all around the world, or his most recent "Elements of Life" it was amazing like an outer body experience ehhhhh or mabeys that was the substance abuse, anyway it was like he was expresing feelings and telling a story through his decks.
