I have some advice too. Don't go down in weight too fast. It will be a big load on your body, not enough energy and too much exercise. Don't exercise too much too soon, you'll get overexercised and all that trouble that leads to. Eat well, exercise regularly and increase at a healthy rate. Go down slowly. Muscles weight more then fat, so look at your performance and make sure it feels good to exercise. Stress is a similar strain on your body as exercise are. Make sure you get enough restitution for both.

Eat very healthy, lots of vegetables, many different types of grain, and fiber. There are hundreds of healthy biochemical nourishments in a vegetable then in an expensive artificial subsidy. If you can't stay off sweets or junk food a few times a week it may still be fine. Muscles use energy also when you don't use them, increasing their mass makes it much easier to manage you weight.

AFIK the Fat Burning Furnace book is a scam.
If you do a google search on "fat burning furnace scam" you'll find a ton of nearly identical hits all telling you why it is NOT a scam. If that doesn't make you suspicious that it's a scam, I don't know what does.

supergogo I have a question for you.
I am a first year college student (male, 17)
and I am 230 pounds. Though I am a vegetarian (no fish or chicken either), I was a very scared little child (reading books, very little sports, lots of computer learning), and my dad fed me lots of food from restaurants and fast food places. And because I was so young, I didn't really think about the weight I was gaining. As a result I feel like I am normal, but I know that I am fat. I need your help; what should I do? I am trying to cut down on my food, and since I am a college student, I am trying to tell my dad and mom that sometimes their food is too nutritious (too fatty).
What do I need to do still? What kind of workouts?

what you need to eat lots of is; eggs, fish/meat/ chicken. Stay away from anything that contains flour; like bread. also stay away from potatoes. Combined with weight training you'll lose weight easy.

Why you can;t look for weight loss tips on a torrent board ? There are great books and here you can ge them. Anyway, after I was reading hundreds of book I realised that the only thing you should know is how many calories you burn a day so you can eat less than that: http://www.calotor.com .
