Astrobrite - Starjuicetorch Bootleg Compiled in: 2008 Astrobrite is a shoegazer supergroup led by Scott Cortez (of Lovesliescrushing, STAR and other projects) and which also included over the time members of Mahogany, Alison's Halo, Xebec, Majesty Crush, etc. Unlike many such bands, they put a great accent on guitar noise (the songs are compared to a "jet engine hum lullaby") - or, otherwise said, they sound a lot like the noisy style of My Bloody Valentine, Loveless-era. You should start with their first LP, "Crush", if you're new to Astrobrite. Those who are already familiar with the band can rest assured - lots of shoegazing fun awaits here.
