Look man you can find the same crack on pirate bay just type : PC AC2 Beta Crack in the search box.
As for the instructions :
1. Copy "UbisoftGameLauncher.exe" to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\
2. Copy "AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe" to game directory
3. Play until you reach the animus and the game freezez :)

Yeah I tried the crack...
you need a Ubisoft account, then you can actually get into the game which is in Russian so you don't understand s**t. Then you can start the game, see the intro sequence, walk into the animus and wait as the game freezes or hangs - whatever in a white screen (guess it is trying to connect a Ubisoft server i don't know)
And that is it... you see the crack says it is BETA that's why i doesn't really work yet. Maybe we'll see a working version soon. At least i hope so...

To install save files go into.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\storage
Look for the folder that's completely filled with random chracters and open it, open 4, replace 1.save with the 1.save in the .rar archive.
Do not copy and paste all contents from the savefiles rar into the data storage area. Oh yeah remove the (x86) if you're on 32bit of windows.

PEOPLE!!! Ubisoft will realize that making a game that is only playable if you have an internet connection is a HUGE mistake.
They CANNOT do this and expect people to actually buy the game. One of the GREAT things about video games is that if your internet connection goes on the fritz you can still play your games!!! Ubi soft is making a HUGE mistake.... they think they will save money reducing piraters but most piraters pirate because they are broke... therefore not able to buy the game ANYWAY... all that will happen is that sales will go down MUCH more because people won't want to buy a game you can't play without going online.
I HOPE THEY GO BANKRUPT. Even if I DID have the money to buy assassins creed 2 I wouldn't JUST because you are required to go online.... That's ok just get a saved game at the end of the game and play.

And you know what..... I don't think we will even need the one that gets around having to be online constantly because from what it looks like is happening in Europe with the already released AC2 is going to make them think twice about releasing the same stupid basically "Beta" DRM in America. The game is SUPPOSED to come out tomorrow but you know what I am thinking is going to happen? I think right at the last second they are going to say something like... ok we extended the release date for a month and they will don a total recall and get rid of their retarded DRM that requires and internet connection to play single player.
Their server already crashed and nothing was done about it for over ten hours and maybe even longer now. This means that NOONE in Europe who has bought AC2 can play it EVEN though it's a single player game they just.... can't play it.... they get as far as we do with this download.... to the animus lol.
As soon as I saw what Ubisoft was doing with this game and their "Bright idea to stop the pirating of their games" I said this is SOOOO going to backfire. And it already has... but this is just the beginning. This will give bad wrd of mouth from piraters NO word of mouth from piraters who don't talk shit about the game but otherwise would have recommended buying the game to friends if they had tried it which they can't, a drop of sales from the people that WOULD buy this game but don't want to because NOONE likes to HAVE to be online to play a game in single player and the people who WOULD have bought it but don't have internet connection and only use the computer for games.
Now that the server crashed and noone can play the game at all until Ubisoft fixes their dumb ass problem which will in turn deter people from buying ANY Ubisoft games in fear that this will happen to them also... Who wants to spend sixty dollars on a game that requires a reliance on whether or not the Ubisoft Server is going to crash today or not. NO FUCK THAT!!!
Ubisoft... I LOVE their games, they are one of my favorite developers. Shit Prince of persia Assassins creed Farcry 1 and 2..... etc etc.... Ubisoft makes AWESOME games but they will put themselves out of business faster than if Piratesbay were available straight from your Xbox!!!

That's because there isn't a proper crack, you have to wait until a REAL razor crack or reloaded or vitality etc.

I downloaded the game and crack, etc. from usenet (the doc & snyder one), followed the instructions + i've tryed a few savegames and shit, but any crack should work now! Also note that i downloaded a skidrow .dll file from a link in a comment in one of the assassins creed 2 topics here on TPB! Dont know if it makes a difference though! Just paused the game now after having fought the security guys in the parking lot :D This is gonna keep me up all night!!! :D:D:D

@xaleel I believe I described it not long ago, but firstly i downloaded the game files, crack, etc. from usenet and installed it, but i believe any crack worked at the time the servers were down.
I downloaded the English version, so no, no language packs.
Note: From that point on i believe it worked for everyone who tried at the time, but personally i also downloaded a crack found through a link in a comment in one of the AC2 torrent pages (cant be bothered to find it right now) which contained the same crack that everyone is releasing, but also a skidrow.dll that i pasted into the AC2 folder. It didn't do anything before the serverthingy though, so dont think its important.
I was lucky to notice someone commenting that it was working at the time, and that it hasn't crashed or anything yet, so I'm still playing :D Wish i had the option to quit and come back though, but i wont take that chance xD

@xaleel No I haven't, simply because I've still got the game going, and I'm not gonna quit the game untill I have (hopefully) completed it. Even though I haven't tryed the "new" cracks yet, I'd be sveptical to try them. For example: as markobas cleverly noticed, Matsumi posted 2 different methods(/cracks), one right after the other, which screams "Fake!".
I think the best possibility to play the game before any scene groups release any working cracks or such (RELOADED is rumored to release a full rip of the game which should work i a months time), you should look out for another "Server Down" oppertunity ;)

@xaleel As i said, i got lucky. At the time the servers were down it was possible for ANYONE with a crack to play the game AND get past the Animus white screen of death.
But a few hours later Ubisoft servers must have gotten up and running again because nobody was able to play anymore because they quit the game and tried to start it again later.
I thought this might happen so i let my game run (and it's still running) so the white screen doesn't happen to me. Don't see many solutions for you other than to wait for either a scene release or a new oppertunity to start the game when the servers are down, though i don't know if thats gonna happen. Keppe reading comments in the Assassins Creed 2 torrent pages because it could happen again ;)

I downloaded the game & got everything right but the in-game menu is still in russian, any 1 know how to fix that? O & if you want to change the letters in the launcher just go to search, look for files & folders, type in regedit in search box, let it search, click on wregedit (I clicked there & found it), click on wregedit, go to HKEY_Local_Machine then go to Software, go to Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed II & double click Language & change it to English but only works for the launcher not the in-game which I am trying to find out
