one thing--
i am getting that nag screen of "good news: now you can get the registered version for free from our partners"
i did not have the previous version / torrent, but i am getting the same nag screen. i am using vista 64 home prem.

This shouldn't suppose to happen.
I removed that nag screen, and tested it on Vista Ultimate x64.
I'm gonna uninstall and then reinstall the application to test the fix on clean install...

Tested it again on version 5.1.24.0531 and there is no nag screen.
From all the people that contacted me you are the first one to have this problem.
The only explanation I can think of is that you possibly used the fix
with the portable version of this application.

Excellent torrent. Downloaded from Xilisoft website, started program and it came up as "Unregistered". Used this fix, restarted program and "Unregistered" was gone. Thanks Eqa5cro

After running the program for the first time, a message popped up that says "You are using the cracked version. To legitimize use of this product, please buy the registered version." I clicked ok, and it continued to convert my videos flawlessly.

Fix from this torrent removes that pop-up message...

Good day. I may have done something wrong. I extracted the your exe file and double clicked on it while the Xilisoft Converter is running. It told me to press any key to run it and my PC shut down. When I tried to convert a file, it still asked me to key in the registration details.
