It's a widescreen movie but the file is done in 4:3 non-native format, so if you're watching on a widescreen TV, you get a nice box with bars instead of a screen fill, which immediately dings the quality significantly. For some odd reason, MPlayer and MCE "buffer" it. Film loses points also for having some out-of-sync issues, which become distracting late in. Generally, kind of poor. The quality of the picture is very good, but the fact that it's encoded wrong is a major setback.

Well, I know this comment is actually about this movie instead of just ripping on people about stupid things.... but here it goes anyways...
I D/Led this thing... uncompressed the RARs (why are we doing that anyways???)... and got an AVI file in xVid format... Windows Media player can't play it... DivX player can't play it... my SageTV can't play it.... nothing can play it... and i have every codec known to man installed... so i assume it's something wrong with the video...

Gom plays it. But I cant convert it using convert x. However the non rar version converts fine but the bottom of the screen has the Korean subs blurred.

It's probably been saved in rar files because it's from or was meant for the IRC scene. Downloading a whole movie again because of a dropped connection ruins the day.
On the plus, there's less chance of getting a corrupt file. I'll find a better copy than this or visit a Redbox though, I don't want hardcoded subs.

this will play using vlc. if you arent using vlc, or something equivalent, i invite you to come join us in the 21 century. if you are still using the inherent media player...well, you probably are using AOL too.
just go download VLC, it plas anything
as for the download: aspect ratio is killing me, the hardcoded korean subtitles are awful. some sync problems, but nothing major.
for me, the korean hardcoded subtitles are a killer. just wiped this from my drive, and will wait for something without the hardcoded subtitles.
big ups to the uploader, respect the effort, but im going to pass until another comes out

Good Quality in pitchure and sound, but has a distortion bar at the bottom like a copy guard, maybe. Movie is watchable, but not reburnable.
