I'm not interested in reading the Quran.
I would like to know the verses that justify the killing of innocent men, women and children and also the verses that justify suicide bombing. I thought that suicide was forbidden in Islam.
The Islamic community must come out and comdemn these unforgivable uses of their religion. I have a difficult time understanding why more muslims don't stand up to these monsters. I'm sure that nearly all muslims don't believe in these murders, but where arey they?

1- You don't see these people because most of the media in the US as well as other countries is owned by Jews and they certainly don't want to show ANYTHING positive about Muslims and Islam. If it is something negative about Muslims and Islam, you'll see it on the news, otherwise you'll never hear about it.
2- There are no verses justifying the killing of innocent people. Just because some so called "Muslims" are committing these crimes does not mean they got it from Islam. What people do and what Islam teaches are two separate things.

Brother jwhitt62......I can bet on that...u wouldnt find a single verse that justifies killing of innocent people or suicide bombing. so dont waste ur time finding that in Quran. But i would you to take out some time out from ur busy schedule to find out whatever these people are doing....is exactly the opposite to what Quran asks one to do.
And by the way...let me tell you brother "terrorisism" a religion in itself. When they fire a bullet....they dont find out who gets killed....dont muslims dies in these killings? Bullet or bombs doesnt know any religion. They just kill.

As far as Islam is concerned, non-Muslims ARE innocent. Killing a non-Muslim just because he/she is a non-Muslim is FORBIDDEN in Islam.
It's not the job of a Muslim person to judge non-Muslims. Only God has the right to judge people over their religion and what they believe in.
These two verses only apply when there is a reason behind the killing. E.g. war, oppression of Muslims, attacking Muslims lands, etc...
Also, you're taking the verse out of its context. If you read the verse after it you'll get the whole story. Here it is:
Chapter 98, verse 6 - 8.
6. Verily, those who disbelieve from among the People of the Scripture and idolators, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.) (7. Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.) (8. Their reward with their Lord is Eternal Gardens, underneath which rivers flow. They will abide therein forever, Allah will be pleased with them, and they well-pleased with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord.)

salam people, i'm a tausog recently living in jolo,sulu (abu sayyaf town) some of them are my relatives, and some of them misunderstood what they are fighting for, they pray five times a day like a true muslim does, my point is some of our muslim brother misunderstood what the islam means,don't believe that killing innocent people like jews and christian is mercyful..you're wrong killing people in islam is haram!

This is not a particularly good English version. It is a single PDF with no original Arabic. The translation does not seem bad at all based on comparisons I have made but I would suggest the free Amazon version with three English translations with Abdullah Yusuf Ali, M. H. (Mohammad Habib) Shakir, and Marmaduke William Pickthall side by side. Arabic is very precise and English is not. Also, idioms and metaphors do not transfer well between cultures so three pokes (so to speak) help. A good example is German idioms. Even though English is, essentially, German the phrases in German rarely translate perfectly to English. Who knows how badly the disparity may by when changing Arabic to English.
