thanks fuctupfido, works flawless! The directions were a little different for me though (running vista). After downloading and and running the first step, I had to the run setup from the folder that appeared on my desktop. That was all though, no codes or activation needed.

This torrent sucks.. or is it just me? I follow the steps, and like "ktgagnon" said, i had to install it AGAIN from the folder i copied to my computer.. but i cant find out where to place the crack ? :s so when i run it i only have 30 days trail :/

I have tried this and everything installs okay, but when i try to save a file in .ai format i get the msg...an unkwon error occtured.
I have also tried another installation using tel. registration and installed fine but the same problem.
I saw in one comment about getting missing dlls but when i went to the url about 75% of the zip downloaded but did not finish and now the url no longer seems to exest.
Anyone have any suggestions?

couldn't get this to work. first step installed a folder that contained a setup.exe file. When I try and run the setup file it asks me to insert the illustrator disc. cannot continue with install. please advise.

Okay, it's a little confusing as I think the instructions given aren't too accurate, just do what 'ktgagnon' says in the first comment and rather than go to C drive, Programs, Adobe, etc, etc like it says in the 2nd step of the instructions, run the setpup from the folder that appears on your desktop.
So basically, do what it says in '1st step', and then when you get to '2nd Step', follow instruction number 1, go to your desktop and open the 'Adobe CS3' folder, and the continue on from instructions number 6 to 10. Simple! Many thanks Fuctupfido

What the 1st instructions should have said is this:
1.Double click the install this first icon to un-archive the installer.
2.After it has finished just click the finish button and follow the installation instructions. (If the installer doesn't start automatically find the folder named "Adobe CS3" that has been created on your desktop and open it then double Click "Setup".)
3.After install DO NOT click the finish & restart button, INSTEAD just click the finish button.
First Step Is Now Done

Worked perfectly fine for me on Windows Vista x64.
Just run the file in the "1st Step" folder and then run the setup.exe in the folder you selected when running the first file. Then copy the Illustrator.exe file from the "2nd Step" folder and replace the Illustrator.exe where you installed the program when running setup.exe.

I've tried to install this three times with a Vista Home Premium OS without success.
When I dbl click the "Setup" file in the Adobe CS3 folder on my Desktop, a box pops up that says "Initializing...". Then, a warning box pops up that says, "Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe support."
Instructions 3-10 under "2nd Step Instructions" are not possible because the files do not exist.
Help, please. (nothing against fuctupfido as his comments are all positive.)

when i rebout the computer an get a microshope has to close send a report or not message, I am on xp and when i finish installing the only button is finish but there is a box checked that says launch it
anyhow i do step 2 but when i rebout it doesn't open just microsoft stops it

Worked great for me after a little head scratching. Like the other guys said-
1. Run Step 1. Do not start Illustrator, just click finish.
2. Go to new folder on Desktop, "Adobe CS3".
3. Run Setup from this folder.
4. After Setup, go to Step 2 folder, copy Illustrator.exe and paste it in the folder specified by the Step 2 text instructions.
5. Restart your computer, and you're good!
And so far, I haven't had any problems with the saving functions or anything. Thanks a ton for uploading this!

I have tried soo many Illustration downloads now and no one works. I need help.
After the extraction and then starting the installation by using setup it always says:
Error, check your setup logfile.
- What´s the problem? Can it be because I have Vista? I have deleted all old versions I have tried to install, not succeeding.
I have installed Photoshop and it works perfectly.

The prog ran fine first time, apart from tools being inactive and not being able to actually do anything. Second start up, doesn't load it at all.
Keygen doesn't work, but downloaded the "All cs3 keygen" which worked fine. No telephone act. needed.
If only the prog would simply start now? :)

I can not find the setup log file for any additional details, and am at a loss as to what else to do?
Would really appreciate some help if possible? Please advise if you require any additional details! Do not believe it is probably an issue with the torrent, but perhaps with my Computer?

First things first. It worked. Thank you for sharing and seeding.
I will say however that the instructions were not spot on and I had to use some common sense and past experience do's and dont's. I did not need the key from push8me either.
I guess I will just post what was different for me than what the instructions suggested.
I did follow the first step which in my case, extracted a folder on my desktop called Adobe CS3. That is where I had to run the installation.
So, if you do the first step and then you don't see any files in your C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3
This is because you did not install the program.
After installing the program, follow Step 2
I did not dare click any shortcuts nor did I dare try running the program from my start menu after I used the crack and then rebooted. I never do use any start apps but I go directly to the folder where I installed via copy and paste to replace the file in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS3\Support Files\Contents\Windows
I will choose to run my program from there instead.
Like I said, the program works, think before you do anything, use some common sense and I suggest getting a program that takes snap shots of your HD so you can do real system restores that work and not like that crap you get from MS Windows system restore which is total crap. I can suggest RollBackRX that is what I use in case I make any mistakes, I just roll her back, of course I take a shot of my drive before any major installation such as this one above. Hope this clears somethings up and thank you for the seeds and thank you uploader.

I would also like to tell pseyeco that no one reported you. COX cable knows what you are doing and they don't really care as long as you PAY THEM MONEY. In other words, if you want to be a big time seeder while using cox cable, you have to UPGRADE your service. They hate customers who use alot of upload which puts a strain on their servers but if you pay them, they will let you. They have several plans but they will still hound you if you seed like crazy. I know it sucks, I know that you are on a three strike deal with them but if you want to stay in good with them, just try not to seed too much and pay them and upgrade so can seed like a semi normal person lol peace.

@Pseyeco: If you are using UTorrent there is a way to block your IP from unauthenticated IPs. I remember hearing this from my fiances uncle that was caught downloading the pre-showing of x men. He mentioned that there was a way to only allowing seeding and downloading to certain IPs. I Don't remember to much of the details.. but you could try doing a google search on it.
