hey have not downloaded yet so have no idea as to the rating of the movie but i must say that it upsets me when ppl say this movie is not good. hey i can admit its not the best zombie flick ever but hey the man is getting old and ya know i have seen the new day of the dead and i was not a huge fan but effects were awesome and this movie was much better. as far as story line it was the first of its time and u know what fuck any one who has the balls to discredit a man who has had so much of a impact on this genre. he has singlehandedly created the concept. this movie is more then worth watching esp for free. watch and support if u like it!

Great work as usual. Movie had me convinced that it was genius, but definitely loses its way 3/4 of the way mostly because of terrible acting and heavy handed proselytizing. The later being expected from Romero.

Thanks for seeding the file. I am a big fan of George Romero movies and have seen all of the major zombie releases but this movie is god aweful. I could not stand to watch more than 11 minutes of the movie before closing media player. The original dawn of the dead were the swat guy goes crazy because of the minorities says it right. This movie is crap the others are far better. Hopefully they dont ruin day of the dead if the ever make a remake.

Don't slate the acting, not one zombie movie on the planet has great acting. The "Dead" movies specifically would be worse if the acting was Oscar worthy.

askhere, This was not a straight to DVD release. Crawl out from under that rock once in a while.
As always with the Romero movies, the zombies are top notch, the acting is not. Acting isn't a huge deal in a movie you're only watching for the gore. You think the Friday the 13th series made it this far on its actors?

Quicktime and windows media keeps telling me that I don't have the correct codec? any ideas where I can find the right one to play the movie?
If I just burn the movie to disc will it work on DVD player without correct codec on the computer?
Tried DivX latest codec and still didn't work?

try downloading the DivX Codec DX50 from this link I had similar problem with windows it wouldn't play properly cause I didn't have the proper codec.
