Look, I did in fact read the directions, and this is only the second game torrent I've downloaded. I've gotten plenty of discographies this way, but those aren't as complex to install. I found the crack, but I can't find any "installdirGameBin", and it's really frustrating. Stop being a jerk and try helping someone out for once. I installed the game and everything, but now when it starts up it asks for a registration number, which I, as I already mentioned, CAN'T FIND. Can someone PLEASE either post it or tell me where I can find it/fix this problem? I was so excited about this and ready to play...

The only problem is that the codes it generates seem to be serials and not the registration code the game is requesting. I tried a few of them and it kept saying they were wrong...

@Ghaoifjei - If you used the default folder it is in c:\program files\Electronic Arts\Game\Bin - rename the original TS3.exe file you find there and then copy\paste the one from the Crack folder on the iso image that you mounted to install the game. (Note : If on VISTA you need to turn of UAC or be on an Admin account in order to write to that folder or it will actually write the file to your compatability folder instead.)

Basically I get to the part in the install where I have to enter a serial number, so I use the keygen, enter the number, then click next...and the installer just shuts down!

Download speed was averaging at around 300kbs, not to shabby for my computer (about 9-10 hours) and i had NO problems what so ever with the installation, its seriously as easy as 1, 2, 3.
I run Vista, and this is all i did...
Mount the disk with Daemon Tools (i use 4.10) when prompt for a Serial key, "right click" the virtual drive you just mounted, click on "explore file(s)" and track down the key gen in the -->CrackCrack

I have had everything work perfectly... Except for the serial code. I followed everything that extremezone said but I got lost at "4. Alright, I've managed to un- and re-ISO the file, renaming the TS3.exe to TS3.abc and putting the cracked TS3.exe in with it, but I'm still getting the 'registration code' prompt when starting up the game. here's how to avoid the registration code problem.
disconnect from the internet. mount. install.
copy the .exe file from the crack folder and paste it in program files/electronic arts/the sims/game/bin.
and then run the program immediately from the same folder. use the copied .exe file (TS3.exe) to launch the game.

Then go to Program Files Ea games then the sims 3 copy the files into the right folders and thats how you install the crack. I didnt do the firewall thing. i download the game and ISO power,so the game changes from zip file to iso,then installed it (the game)and when asked i gave the code (BCE6-V2GL-7BGK-Y7BE-PRLD). then i opened the crack file and copied rld-sim.exe and TS3.exe and paste them on the Bin file which is in Game file.thats all it took for me.i hope that helped for those who couldnt make it :)

Thank you, works great. I had to copy the TS2 icon crack from the disk and paste into the program files/the sims 3/electronic arts/games/bin folder. And then double click that same icon to start the game. And then you will not be asked for a code or anything.

don't try and update it....if you do if will non-stop ask you for a Serial Key......i had cracks and Key Generators but nothing worked and i had to remove all the updates and reinstall this one.

Okay so I am having an issue. I have installed the game and moved TS3.exe crack over to the Game's bin folder in the directory yet when I double click the launch icon both in the directory and desktop, nothing happens. I don't know what I did wrong but I just want to get this thing in since I lost the copy that I bought and really don't feel like wasting another $30 on something I already bought so if someone could please help me figure out what I did wrong I'd greatly appreciate it.

theres no need to crack any games, just mount the .iso sims into a virtual drive and it works great, I have not cracked any games and it works perfectly.

I think I found the solution to most problems regarding expansions.
This is how I did:
1. Install The Sims 3 BASE GAME first, crack it and make sure it works.
2. Install The Sims 3 UNIVERSITY LIFE expansion. Crack it and make sure it works. Also make sure you put the crack in the BASE GAME, not the expansion.
3. Now you can install all of the other expansions without problems. NOTE: Do NOT crack the other expansions, just install them and then enter the game through University Life crack in the base game bin folder.
The reason to install and crack University Life before installing any other expansions is that University Life is the latest release so you will have the latest crack.
I hope it helped and that you can understand my Swenglish :)

Is this by any chance compatible with Win8? I've tried installing properly the whole thing twice and still the game crashes when loading the town screen.
Just asking since it is not my first time installing cracked games and this (plus the expansions) works perfectly fine on my Win7.
Any idea of what might be going on?

how i got it to work.. disconnected from the internet (turned off wifi on labtop)...extracted using power iso..then copyed all file onto harddrive into a folder i labled xxx.. then in that folder i clicked on Sims3Setup.. when prompt for key.. i went into the crack folder and opened rld-sim3 file and hit generate.. i coped and pasted the code into the key after installing onto hard drive. i then copyed the content of the crack folderin the xxx file i created.. then goto start menu...then to computer.. then to local disk (c:).. then to program files (x86).. then to electronic art... then to games.. then to bin this is where you put the crack files..there will be another bin file inside the bin file you are in.. leave this alone the cracked file are coppyed outside of that file..

how to block the sims from going online .. i got this info from youtube (How To Block A Program Form Accessing Internet With Windows Firewall) basicly start menuControl PanelSystem and SecurityWindows Firewall advanced settings.. then inbound rules(on left of screen), then new rules(on right of screen),then next, then Browse local disk (c:).. then to program files (x86).. then to electronic art... then to games.. then to bin..choose sim launcher (also do the same for TS3) pick the file you want to block, then hit next, then choose block the connection, then next, then next, give this "block" a name (no description), hit finish.. then go back and do the same for outbound rules. (for both TS3 and sim launcher)....

Works fine with the keygen and no problems after I copied the crack.
If you don't get a prompt to copy and replace the file then you're copying to the wrong folder.

I have a few concerns:
1. Upon installing, the launcher claims that this copy is not a final version and is unauthorized. I figured the unauthorized bit, but not about the final version. Will this limit my gameplay? I already know that Pleasantview is NOT included do to this, but I am worried that other features will be effected, too.
2. Am I able to install expansion packs with this 'copy', or will they be incompatible due to this being a "non-final" copy?

ok guys, if you can't find registration code. Make sure the image is mounted.
Then go to your windows explorer and click on the sins icon underneath my computer
Double click on crack folder and then rld-sims3.exe. This will give you a registration code and you will be able to use this for when you are installing the game
