aaargh----disaster - 250cds ripped & covers scanned - my 2nd hard drive (750gigs) is dead. All my downloaded music + music videos gone.

external usb - maxtor, one touch 750gigs
power is working, and you can hear the hard drive power up, but after about 5 seconds it stops.
i had to buy a new hard drive anyway but i wanted to back up the files -
i will have to get someone to look at it for me and see if they can save all the data = work = hours = aaarghhhh
