DON'T DOWNLOAD:
The bin file cant be mounted, you have to install it with the included exe (so no, that wasnt the crack).
The install shield is very unclear: it contains lots of weird characters. The only reason I could install it, is because its layout is quite generic.
Then when I try to start the game I immediately get this error message: "RocketKnight_ConfigTool has encountered a problem ..." The game can't be loaded.
Therefore I recommend DON'T DOWNLOAD

I Have this problem to but I managed to fix it.
1- Download xinput.dll:

2 - Put this xinput1_3.dll in C:\Windows
Go to C:\game\Rocket Knight\Directx and Install Directx Setup
4 - Go To C:\Game\Rocket Knight and run the file: RocketKnight_ConfigTool
5 - Go to C:\Game\Rocket Knight and Run RocketKnight.exe
6 - Enjoy and Fun!!!!! =D

I tried fabiojrmelo's idéa and it partially worked however for me it kept saying "Error: Config.data is not aviable" even though it was right there so I thought it might be something wrong with the file... well I removed it, played Rocketknight.exe as administrator and it WORKED! :D
so...

Good and very easy install. I don't know why everyone else is struggling i installed and then just played right away. It was as simple as that. But my computer sucks so I can't play the game anyway. Still good torrent!
