Thanks for this. It always irritates me that despite the fact that I shelled out a considerable amount of money buying some of Elgato's hardware, they still expect me to pay for every minor update.

Serial does work. But I think the EPG is blocked/blacklisted for Titantv and TVguide now. Anyone able to get it to work with the Serial?

Not worth upgrade, with 3.0 you get free titantv schedule listing. with 3.1 you only have 1yr tvguide trial.

you can still use the blacklisted S/N by installing it without connecting to the internet first and then remove the check mark for automatic update in the options settings to avoid flagged as blacklisted the next time eyetv app is being launched.

@ sl33pwalker - I don't want to flame you but take it as a matter of fact:
1) First you HAVE TO USE A FIREWALL and block ALL OUTGOING CONNECTIONS for WAREZ (I suggest Little Snitch - and you have to buy and run it before installing warez).
2) You don't activate online programs you downloaded here for trial.
Given you have failed both I can conclude that: You are a idiot.
