This is no steam client TF2. Version: 1.0.5.8 REV-EMU (9.7.8 RC2) was included in this client. PLEASE CHOOSE LANGUAGE in rev.ini in the game folder, default language is Russian!!! ALSO PLEASE CHOOSE NICK - there are too much people with nick "unnamed" You can play with it on 94.242.1.41:27016 or press @RNET TF2 NO STEAM SERVER@ in the game.

I got connected, but I can't even add any server IPs. Even with the console command, I still get a bad server address. I can only play with that one server by default.

You can't add servers to the list which is pretty bad though. That is why I would recommending getting the Steam version to have a list of servers you can play.
I did find a way to enter into any server on the list by entering "connect [IP address:port #]" into the console command.
It really works and I can play on that particular server. Just copy and paste that server you want to get in after you type connect in the console command, paste the IP address and port number of that particular server, and finally press Enter to get in.

@rahman413. Make a steam account. And downlaod steam. You should be able to see those servers and look for sever IP adresses. HAVE FUN! btw some servers aren't 24/7 so some servers you might not find at a period of time. Sorry for bad english! :DDDD

how do we update this game? i know where to go to get the updates. well i think so. i got some gcf files and stuff and tried to update them through something called CF toolbox. i keep getting this error when i try to join LITTERALLY any server saying server is enforcing consistency for this file particles/water_dx80.pcf PLZ help ive been trying to fix this for 3 days now and i REALLY wanna play

many people have this problem too. Either the servers have to update or you have to reinstall the latest version of Team Fortress 2. It was Valve's fault BTW.
