Initially recorded by country music artist Mark Wills in 2003 on his album And the Crowd Goes Wild, it was covered by Bellefire a year later. The first version to be released as a single was by pop singer Jo O'Meara in 2005, from the album Relentless. Later that year, country pop group Rascal Flatts covered the song as well, releasing it as the first single from their 2006 album Me and My Gang, topping the U.S country and adult contemporary charts with it in 2006. German band Cascada later had international chart success with the song in 2007. In 2006, country music trio Rascal Flatts released the song as a single for their album Me and My Gang, and it became their fifth number-one single on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. It also peaked at No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, becoming the band's first Top 10 pop hit. In addition, the song reached #1 on the Adult Contemporary charts. Rascal Flatts also performed the song live with Kelly Clarkson at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006. Rascal Flatts' recording earned two nominations for the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, in the categories of Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, and Best Country Song. Me and My Gang is the fourth studio album from the American country music group Rascal Flatts. It was released on April 4, 2006. The album sold more than 721,000 units and went double platinum in the first month of release. It sold 4,758,000 copies in the United States up to May 2009 and was certified 4× Multi-Platinum. The singles released from this album included "What Hurts the Most", which was a Number One hit on the Hot Country Songs and Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks charts. This was followed by the title track (which reached a peak of #6), and then the Number One hits "My Wish" and "Stand". Later presses of the album also included a cover of Tom Cochrane's "Life Is a Highway" (a cover previously included in the soundtrack to the 2006 film Cars) as a bonus track. This cover, though not released to country radio, charted at #18 on the country charts, overlapping with "My Wish". My Videos: http://thepiratebay.se/user/2nafish/
