I have following the instruction, but, my shortcut (on my desktop) is link to nothing. When i'm going in the folder Games/Mirrors_Edge, there is no .exe...

in fact, you just have to extract the file data1, data2... map...
But then, when I launch the setup.bat, it's running perfectly, and told me to start the game from the desktop...
Then, i click on the shortcut... and appears a error message
"failed to find default engine .ini file to retrieve My Documents subdirectory to use. Force quitting"
And it didn't work

Ok finaly the game works!! But i have another problem! When i try to install the pacth it says that mirror edge is not installed why?? Also what pc does it needs for max graphics?? I have 8800 gt 512 2 gb ram ddr 400 athlon x2 4400 2,2 ghz will i be able to run it on max graphics??

I unzipped/delete 10 time beacause the game wont work. I cant launch the game because windows always tell me to end it (like when i have to close a freeze task). My os is Vista Ultimate X64

MOURGOLYKOS you can't update game rips. The joy of rips is you run the .bat file directly to your folder and then run the .exe.

what exactly does the pacth does? i noticed some times the game crash for a few seconds and then it works again.. why this happens??I am playing on 1280x1024 all max graphics physics on. So there is not any way to update the game?? Does it realy need the pacth to be able to run on max settings+Physx??

So after installing I have a Mirror's Edge icon on my desktop (-the picture) I go to properties of the .exe and it points to I go into explorer and I can't find a binaries folder or a .exe but there is a XXMKLINK.EXE which I then associate with the desktop icon since there isn't anything else in the folders looking even close to a mirror's edge icon. The XXMKLINK.exe is some patcher which I left alone. What is the deal here chatbars

Besides fixing some video/audio glitches patches will blacklist bullshit serials from keygens. And with this game allot of people are getting another box after installing patches and new fixed .exe because its dialing back home checking your IP. Unplug your internet connection and try playing. Has anyone detected which service is sending info back to their servers

1. Do you know why you can't install to a different directiory on another drive?
2. Where is the binaries folder
3. Where is the game.exe located in directory >short to desktop
4. What is this XXMKLINK.exe supposedly for desktop game.exe for?

To everyone having problems extracting this (If the only folder you get is Tdgame.
Download 7zip, install it, then try to run the batch.
It will work, I garantee you :)
(Most of Freeman's Rips will get fuked if you dont have 7z)
