I own GTL but I'm not digging for that DVD everytime I want to install this. With my luck, I'll lose the DVD and be fucked. I don't even know where it is right now. Thanks for this upload. It'll come in handy if I need to reinstall the Historix mod.
I still don't blame the team for putting the DVD check though. They needed to for legal reasons.

How To Instal Original Mod Whitout Cd/Dvd Check?(means no need to have GTL original game!)
1.Download mod from ANYWHERE!rF central,historix site etc.
2.Download 7-zip and instal!
3.Open mod folder and klick on .EXE and extract files to your main rF folder X:\program files\rFactor
4.play this great mod!
How come?
.EXE file will not make a cd/dvd check cause you didnt start it! but 7 zip will extract all files that are in that exe...
If you dont see your mod when you start the game than you have extracted the files in main folder but 7-zip made another folder named by the .EXE file so u just need to cut all files from that folder and past them in rF folder and overwrite some files(GameData,Music,Plugins etc.) Say thx if this helped!
