At this writing, this version 4.16.1.1 is no longer the most current version. The newest version (again, as of this writing) is 4.17.1.1.
There is a 4.17.1.1 torrent by XCRYPT that I'm sure he meant to work, but it does something very unclear and counterintuitive when one tries to unpack/unzip the .rar files that result from unzipping the .zip files. As I wrote in a comment on that torrent's page, I'm sure there's a way to make it work, but, fortunately, there's another, easier way to get the newest (as of this writing) version 4.17.1.1 using the torrent on *this* page as a starting point.
Simply download the torrent on this page (version 4.16.1.1).
Then run the setup (but, then, when setup is complete and SnappyFax 4.16.1.1 is installed DO NOT run/launch it yet).
Then copy the patcher into the folder into which setup installed SnappyFax.
Then run the patcher and make sure you get a success indicator.
Then launch SnappyFax 4.16.1.1 and you'll be advised that it's a 30-day trial version; but then specify that you want to enter a registration code.
In the registration dialog, type-in whatever name you want; and in the registration or serial number fields, type-in whatever you want (in my case, I just used all zeros). That will, because of the patch, fool SnappyFax 4.16.1.1 into believing that it's registered and no longer a trial version.
Then, you'll be taken through a first-run wizard where you answer some questions; and then you'll finally land on the SnappyFax 4.16.1.1 main window.
Then click on the "Utilities" pulldown menu and select "Live Update." A wizard will launch. Specify that you want to check to see if there's an update. It will find the version 4.17.1.1 update. Allow said 4.17.1.1 update to download and install normally. (SnappyFax 4.16.1.1 will close during the process.)
When the installer finishes, re-launch SnappyFax and you'll be taken straight to the main window. Click on the "Help" pulldown menu, then on "About" and you'll see both that it's still registered, and that it's updated to 4.17.1.1
If by the time you read this, there is an even higher version than 4.17.1.1, I cannot say if the above steps will also work. But I know, from having done myself exactly what I just described, that starting with this torrent's version 4.16.1.1, and then doing the steps I just gave you, you can, at the very least, get up to version 4.17.1.1
After that, who knows.

The latest release is 4.18.1.1 as of March 25 2008 I am following what HarpGuy said and I am downloading 4.16.1.1

And then patching it and then letting it update
And that still does not work any more. It appears that this company has updated thier software.
You get the message "The Key Used to register this software has been revoked"
So obviously this company has changed their software and the method you described no longer works as of March 25 2008

You can even download version 4.27 from the website and use FFF's Snappy Fax Version 4.0 keygen for it.

Program identifies serial as being generated by illegal keygen and closes, even on a machine with no internet connection. (even if you use FFF's keygen or the one included with this download)
(It will register, but message comes up when you make a change to settings and then program closes)
