Thanks!

looks like dorna has already dropped Eurosport no pre race build up or interviews just like round 11 instead of the pre race stuff they showed 125 highlights well what they called highlights it was more like the full 125 race again with the ads cut out and put in another place of the race it looks like their trying to force us to watch the BBC coverage instead

Wolfie07 (2008-08-18)

they usually have a walk down the grid and pit lane and have a good gab to fill in the time that is what these guys do best not like the crappy bbc and its all been cut out and filled in with them same race that most people would have watched an hour before the bbc had some pre race stuff and the interviews. we'll see if im right in the next few weeks if it keeps up this way hope not for all our enjoyment

I hope some broadcast picks up the great eurosport commentary team with Toby Moody, Julian Ryder and Randy Mamola for next season.
Wolfie you have done great work in recent years by giving us the chance watch the best motoGP broadcast.

This is the first download of the 12 (800cc) races that I have not been able to open with Windows Media Player or Nero8. The other 11 played just fine. Any Guess as to the problem?
p.s. Thanks for all the work you've put in on these.

Try using VLC media player its free to download just google it this usualy plays everthing. I changed the size of the resolution for this 1 and made it bigger than my other ups but i can't see what differance that would make hope this helps and plz let me know if this helped or if it was a differant problem

I downloaded the VLC as you suggested. It shows an "unrecognized format". The Windows Media Player would open and start to run as if it's playing, then shut-off. All without video and sound. The Nero Would show it running on the timer, but again, no video/audio. I've went back and deleted the file and downloaded it several times... still the same thing. Like I mentioned in the last comment... this is the first problem I've had with an AVI file. Let me know what you think. Thanks for your timely response.

Hmmmm thats weird VLC is the king of media players in my book and ive never had a prob with an avi file since i got it some time ago its usually kodecs but if you got VLC this should update them and i cant understand it being unrecognized have you tried converting and burning to a dvd?

Wieerrrd! Somehow I had the file in two different locals. The one in my external HD was the one that had all the problems. I found the other one by accident while looking for something else. I guess I need to get all my downloads finished so I can delete that particular file and bypass it all together but going directly to the ext. HD. Round 12 will now play on Windows media player. Also, the other round 12 (the problem child) had a "video format is not supported" when trying to burn to dvd. Maybe something messed up when I moved it to the ext. HD somehow the first time. Anyway, problem solved. Thanks for all the help. Will be looking forward to getting the rest of the season from you!

Well... I got 6min. into the program and it stopped playing, although the timer was still running. Closed WMP and opend in VLC. VLC reports that the file is broken. VLC is now trying to repair said brokeness. (Neat feature by the way) You don't see that with WMP. Didn't even attempt it in Nero. If this keeps up (hopefully not... especially the way you speak of VLC) I'll delete and download again and/or try the torrent with the .flv container. May not hurt to try both if it comes to it.
