well i appreciate your upload, it does sound decent but some of us are picky about bitrate and transcodes.
transcoding from AAC (was your source 128 or 320) to MP3 is like dubbing a cassette. you're taking a compressed format and converting it another compressed format.

It's not Slash on nay of the tracks. He left Guns N' Roses in 1994.
On the torrent: A very good upload, many thanks Rupert77, great quality and loads of seeders for a very fast download time.
On the album: A massive let down. It has a few select decent tracks, namely the title track and 'There Was A Time', however overall it makes me think of AC/DC's new album Black Ice; just a buch of worn out old rockers trying to revive classic hard rock, and offering nothing new at all. We heard all this back in '91 with Use Your Illusion 1 & 2, except this album is very much less inspired and overproduced.

I went and saw this band when i was 11, i wore the GNR vest that i made (mum did the stitching of the patches) and off i went marlboro cigarettes and a small bottle of whiskey in hand, that was 1991 and i will never forget the performance, although Axl the pretentious cunt made us all wait for fucking four hours to hear 1 and a half hours of music, it still rocked and i will never forget it.I cant understand how this album reportedly cost $20 million to make, seems a little far fetched to me.People have to remember that we all change over time and what was good back then is not deemed good now.But in my eyes this album has balls and i hope im hearing it on the radio 10 years from now.So go buy the album support GNR and while your at it if you havent heard any of GNR's earliest music go get that too.Great upload.

Tho' I do prefer the raw "oh we ain't got shit to do so let's record a song" feel that no line-up other than Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff & Steven can throw in, for me this will be a buy 101% (I didn't listen to it or any of the leaks) so will be the concert ticket should they ever come to Central/Southern Europe in support of the album.
Not trying to seem like a smartass, but no matter how much I'd love for the 'pretty boy, hair-face, strad, beer-king & popcorn' to get over themselves and continue where they left off after 'Lies' album came out, expecting the Nightrain kind of laid back chopper ride prolly ain't gonna happen due to the low rock&roll population among the younger audience and due to the fact that the Guns will be Guns and won't look back. Ironically that's exactly why these five dickheads have been my playlist's No.1 for 20+ years.
The extreme difference between extreme eccentric personalities the five of'em have is what brought this great band together in the first place, and because of those extremes they sounded the way they did, and those extremes made it impossible for them to last longer... quite frankly, I wouldn't like it any other way cause everything else each of them tried under whichever name/lineup, was simply be something else.
Out of that respect that I'll pass on, I'll continue buying any material any of them make even if it's subtitled as "Tribute to Britney Spears" :D

There is nothing epic about this album and it is definitely not a masterpiece. Axl is dead. GNR is gone. I was a fan once. Now I am happy. Anyone likes this album and Magnetic of Metallica are faggots. U don't know what the real deal is you stupid fucks.

The real deal is gonne,
us who had the honor to listen on vinil and tape GnR had also the anticipation to wait.
We had no internet, we only had MTV and that only for those lucky to get it in their country.
Back then, Axel and the rest of the band offered to us all, not only rock but also entertainment, show. Yes, Axel brought Rock hand bu hand with Show. And serve it perfect.
Sadly the rock we knew is gonne. Sadly maybe it was only an illusion there was good rock once, perhaps because it was the time right to get illusions.
I was a BIG GnR fan, my friends still call me Axel for a variety of reasons irrelative to mention here.
So far I have not listen to this album, but I will not because globaly all fans of GnR are speaking rough about it.
I will keep and Use my the Illusion.
I hope you people from my gen all get what I m saying here.

Well, it indeed IS a different sound. But if I had heard this without knowing it was GNR, I'd have looked up more songs by the artist...
It all depends on what music you like. And if you don't like this, then don't listen to it, and stick to the old GNR albums. Just don't blame the artists for making music you don't appreciate.
Personally, I think it is a great album, which makes me love GNR even more.
