my IDM died this afternoon. fake serial stuff. got the hosts file to block internetdownloadmanager.com
they must be checking from a different site/ip
anyone know what to block?

So far it's working great for me. No problem after the elimination. Thanks for the upload, but one thing it fails to redial the Vista dial-up. Instead my MSN is more sensitive it redial immediately after the Connection is lost.
