Strange, it seems that every time I try to install this game (using my Windows XP SP3 Gaming box) Setup.exe errors out (Standard XP error reporting dialogue comes up). This happens whether I try to run it through the games' autorun launcher menu or just go into the mounted ISO myself and run setup.exe I'm simply unable to install this game.

For those of you that must know. Use Daemon Tools to mount the image and do not allow anything to auto run / start. Do not try to load the game. Find a decent AV tool and scan the disk image.
I went ahead for grins and made an attempt to install inside a VMware image and basically it installs all sorts of things including hijacking services, installed a fake AV client, and several worms and trojans were detected by AV software running on the image.
I mean this thing doesn't even attempt to hide the fact that it's about to screw you from the minute you click the install button.
So DO NOT INSTALL THIS. Yes it's jack your system ware.

Don't bother with this, grab the skullptura rip from isohunt, its around 2 gigs
Get the 3596 to 3599 patch from somewhere on the net, rename the install folder to exactly this
Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance
copy the original exe into the bin folder from the not for newbs folder then you can patch to the latest version that has no DRM and play on Hamachi.
