sorry but i rented this when it came out and its a bag of shit, really cheesey and quite frankly full of weird russians like the sergant in a really gay lookin stripey top, its no saving private ryan trust me. just my opinion ofcourse and not dissin klaxxon cos fairplay for the up but this is a poo film.

An excellent war movie in Russian, with English subs. The Russian drill sargeant makes lee emery from full metal jacket look like mister rogers. Very realistic and brutal.

none of the subtitles are working. i dl them but nothing happens. even when i stick em in the folder.

resolution 710 x 270. Video quality: excellent. Subs are stored as .srt in .zip file. subs played fine in VLC (just activated in vlc menu/pref.)

Just watched the movie last night, yet again Klaxxon produced a great rip.
The audio and video quality were both excellent.
The subtitles were good, it was obvious the translator wasn't a native English speaker though. The errors in his English were very minor and didn't take away from being able to understand what was being said.
