The court hearing at the end is simply fabulous. My new ripping procedure now produces decent quality for such a long film (2x90 min) compressed into just 700 MiB. i think you mean angles, not angels. i downloaded and watched this movie and it seems to end just before the final action takes place, a preview of which begins the movie. apart from that, it's a pretty average telemovie about crazies who teach their children that the only way to resolve a conflict is by shooting someone. hard to have any sympathy for the adults, who represent all that is wrong with society.

Okay, first off a big THANK YOU for the upload. Now, went to wikipedia and followed a lotta links in it reading reports, etc.... It is a decent movie, but is biased against the Weavers. Gotta think the only reason it got made was to try to paint the Weavers as the bad guys and the govt. as inept as they are. Gone to a lotta gun shows and it is always the govt. snitches that suggest doing something illegal. Change out a sear pin, find a sawed off shotgun, make a sale w/o ID, etc... When you hear talk like that at a gun show, you contact the County Sheriff and the next thing you know there are feds everywhere trying to cover their arses. Been to more than one where the Feds were ordered to leave by the County Sheriff after everyone was ordered to produce ID. Most of those fed snitches look like the idiot in the leather jacket-too Hollywood. Simple rule, don't make a weapon sale to somebody you wouldn't trust in your home with a loaded weapon! It's not racism, it's a survival instinct. Anyway-off the soapbox and thanks again for the upload. Randy is a great guy, he'd stop to help you change a tire in the rain when everybody else has driven by even today.

@Wendy550. I know your comment is over 4 years old, but I just couldn’t resist responding. What, in your opinion, makes these people “crazies”, as you put it? They chose to move to & live in a remote area. This was for many reasons. The family was trying to find a place where they could live in peace & raise their family without having to deal with the stigmas & stereotypes of the times. The family had religious beliefs that were not the norm, they didn’t trust or have faith in the educational system, & they saw the US Government as corrupt & collapsing (sounds familiar). When one lives in that part of the Country, of course they’re going to have guns. Guns are a necessary tool there. Guns provide food & protection. Teaching your family to be self-sufficient & to protect & defend themselves & others with firearms isn’t crazy. It’s being responsible and prepared. Every reason I just listed is in The US Constitution. Basically, they just wanted to be left alone.
The entire incident was started years before by an angry, slanderous neighbor’s letter-writing campaign & forging Randy Weaver’s signature. After a decade of being harassed by numerous alphabet agencies, actions became hostile. Weaver held it together longer than I could have. This was all the involved agencies faults & they pretty much admitted it by paying millions to almost everyone on the Weaver side. I think the only Weaver to fire a shot was the 14 year old son in defense of himself, his father’s friend, & his dog. The son was shot in the back 6-7 times while trying to flee. He died immediately. I’m not going to even get into the murder of wife Victoria Weaver by an over-zealous sniper. No charges ever stuck & all information provided by the informants was lies. Well, enough history from me but there are many more details. It was a huge Government cluster-fuck all the way around. I think the Weaver’s were on to something, almost pioneer like. People like the Weavers are not what’s wrong with society. The corrupt Government, big business, banks, & militarization of local law enforcement are just a few of the things that are truly wrong with society. Things certainly haven’t gotten any better & many people seem to be stepping out of the box & realizing what’s going on around them, but some people choose to stay in their cozy box & pretend everything is fine.
