In response to Phykix comment, I also think it a grievous insult to us downloaders of free music that the uploader did not take the time to hop in his time machine to October 25, 1968, grab Jimi Hendrix himself, and take him back in time to record 'All Along the Watchtower', and then fit it into this album, which was released on May 12, 1967. Of course, you would also have to grab a copy of Bob Dylan's single, 'All Along the Watchtower' before you went, because it wasn't released until November 6, 1967.
A better question would be, why did Jimi insult us by not recording a cover of a song that hadn't even yet been conceived, and release it on this album? What a jerk.

@phykix, All Along The Watchtower wasn't released on the debut album. It was released on Electric Ladyland, which is why it isn't in this list. How do I know? I have owned a copy of Electric lady land since the day it was released. Next to the last song, side four. On the 45, Burning of the Midnight Lamp was the B side.

To everyone who is complaining that All Along The Watchtower isn't on here, do a little research on Jimi Hendrix before you start blindly insulting people. All Along the Watchtower was never on this album, the original Bob Dylan version was released a year after this album, which mean Jimi still had to make his cover of it and record it and release it. If you want to find All Along the Watchtower, look for Electric Ladyland, the album that song is actually on. Morons... Good Upload vtwin, I appreciate it.
