Use this to install OS 9 on G3 & G4 iBooks. This will enable you to run Classic. G3 iBooks can also boot natively into OS 9 (but G4 iBooks can't.)

Hopefully this is an iBook restore CD (or DVD) torrent, otherwise it is fake. OS 9 installers are NEVER larger than 700mb. And a Classic only installer would be smaller due to it being packaged by apple in a DMG file.

Joel Schimdt, don't be so suspicious. Why would I put up a fake of old software that most people wouldn't be interested in? Anyway, download it, and you will see for yourself.
I had a lot of trouble getting this software. Apple won't provide it (for no good reason; what's wrong with using OS9?). As far as I can determine, it is not available anywhere else. That's why I put it up.
I don't know why it is so big. It is an iBook Restore DVD, but it only contains OS9 install packages. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me can explain?
PS The "Read Me" that comes with it says that it won't allow you to boot into OS9, but that is untrue, if you have a G3.

This torrent has always been, and still is properly seeded. The computer which hosts it is not however always connected. This torrent (and my others) are seeded for several hours per week. That is the best I can do. You will have to be patient.
